A/N: ANOTHER CHAPTER :D

This one actually has actual characters lmao

=====

Adam Kipling stepped off of his helicopter and looked out at the rest of the island, his bronze eyes scanning every piece one by one: the gigantic beige mansion, the grassy hills, the cerulean water, the brown cliff hanging over the water, the trimmed azalea bushes.

A group of people dressed in white clothes marched towards him, the man in the front wearing a navy blue velvet blazer.

"Welcome to Scotland, Mr. Kipling."

"Welcoming me into my own home?" Adam raised his eyebrows.

"Temporary home." The man corrected him.

"I like your attitude."

"Thank you, sir. I'm Tyler, the event manager." Tyler glanced at Adam's briefcase. "May I help you with that, sir?"

"No. I can carry my briefcase, thank you."

"Of course." Tyler turned red.

"But you can help carry these." A voice beside Adam said.

Tyler turned towards the voice. "Oh hello, Ms. Clarke." All the enthusiasm faded from his voice. The woman gave him a tight-lipped smile and started to walk inside.

"Oh, and by the way, Happy birthday, sir." Tyler grinned.

"Happy birthday, sir." The employees chorused.

"Thank you, thank you," Adam responded.

Moments later, someone stumbled over the suitcases.

"Shit!" She hissed.

Tyler turned towards the voice, then rolled his eyes. "Careful, Ms. Clarke."

"You okay, Kay?" Adam asked her.

"Okay, AK!" Came the response.

She glanced down and continued walking toward the humongous mansion.

"Tyler, I want everything to go perfectly tonight. I want my guests and me to remember this night for the rest of our lives." Adam continued.

"I promise you, sir, everyone will remember today." Tyler smirked.

Kay stopped moving and suspiciously eyed Tyler.

There was something up with this man.

Kay was sure that under his bright smile and perfect hair, he was a nasty man.

Or not. Maybe she was imagining the evil tinge in his voice.

She shook her head and continued talking toward the mansion for what felt like the seventeenth time.

Adam sighed and strode to the mansion as well, clutching his burnished gold briefcase handle tightly. In the background, he heard Tyler faintly instruct the employees to pick up all the suitcases and carry them inside.

The helicopter left, leaving the people on the island with no escape.

Tyler walked with the staff inside, carrying nothing but a dark brown clipboard with a sheet of paper. "Sir wants this day to be perfect, which means making his guests feel extra special. Let's get to know them, shall we?"
