Kirishima's POV

I first noticed it yesterday. The two were oddly silent and wouldn't look at each other. Katsuki was more docile than normal and Midoriya looked more on guard than he did before.

It became even more noticeable once all of us reached the office and we were given our assignment for the day. The three of us would be working in the same district again for patrol. Surprisingly, Katsuki didn't throw a fit about it, and Midoriya didn't even look up from his shoe laces.

Even Todoroki threw me a questionable gaze before he had to meet up with Tsu for his own assignment.

I left them for quite some time during the party the other night. Kami asked me for some help and I obviously obliged. Turns out it's because he's playing match maker again. This time with Todoroki and Sero in mind. So, I spent a good part of the night with Kami trying to figure out if the two would actually be compatible in a relationship.

Don't ask me, this is a Kaminari thing that he likes to do.

But I did discover that the two have been spending a good amount of time together recently. Perhaps there is some merit to it, though that still makes in none of my business.

So, thinking back on track. I didn't see the two of them at the party for the remainder of the night until we all got ready to walk home together.

Kind of thinking about it, they were awfully silent on the way back then too. I just thought they were exhausted and didn't really think more on it.

But then they started acting even weirder the next day.

Now we're here, two days later, and the two of them are still acting strange.

We walked down the main street for the area we needed to patrol in. It was a hot day out, and it's times like this that I am glad my hero suit doesn't require a top, unlike Midoriya's who I am sure is sweating profusely and probably on the verge of heat stroke.

The two were on either side of me, and many people kept coming up for autographs and photos. All in all, a very typical day. Minus the two weirdos on either side of me.

"Okay, enough," I said and stopped walking.

"Eiji?" Katsuki asked me concerned.

"What's wrong, Kirishima?" Midoriya's gentle voice asked.

"No, no. There's nothing wrong with me, but what on earth is going on with you two?" I pointed between them.

Katsuki frowned and looked away, meanwhile Midoriya went red and looked down.

"Nothing, jeez, can we get on patrolling?" Kat asked.

I sighed. "Did the two of you have a fight or something?"

"N-No," Midoriya replied, but he still looked at his feet.

I crossed my arms, obviously not believing either of them. "The two of you have been acting strange since the party. Did something happen?"

Neither answered. Midoriya looked off the side, avoiding the conversation entirely.

"Kat?" I looked at him instead. My boyfriend has never been one to keep secrets from. What's changed now? Why won't he look at me?

"We can talk about it later," he said, and I could only frown further. I wanted to complain, but shouting had me halt.

"Wait! Hold it!"

My head whipped to Midoriya who started running to the left of me down a dark alley.

"Deku?" I asked. Kat and I looked at each other before darting after him.
