"I don't know dad... All the way in Iraq... What about my friends... What about my life?"
"Iris, I don't want to make you come here, but I can't just let your mother beat you."
"Ok..my answer is yes."
"Great! I'll send a jet there first thing in the morning."
"Ok... Bye daddy..."
So here I am, 16 years old, and going to a war base... This could end either way.
*The NEXT Day*
I was packing when I heard yelling which sounds like my mother.
"YOU ARE NOT TAKING HER!"
"She's MY PROPERTY!" my mother screamed.
"I'm sorry ma'am, this is official instruction from the SSA."
Before she could reply I ran downstairs to see 6 foot men dressed in all black.
"Are you Ryan's request?" one man said in a stirn voice.
"Uh yes?" I replied.
The other man grabbed my bags and led me to a also black tinted car with the navy sign along the edge.
"Enter" the deep voice told me again. I did as told.
The 2 men slid into the car.
"Please recite your name"
"Iris Marie Densyl" I stated
"Going towards station 4 landmark 5, Iraq." they said into a microphone.
And then we were off, away from my family, my friends, and my life.
