As we flew over the U.S. I kept thinking about how this will affect my whole life, what if my dad doesn't even want me.
After all of my worrying I eventually fell asleep.
"Miss?"
I looked up groggily.
"We're here... I must transport you to your father.."
"Ok..."
I followed the men down to a metal dome, when we walked inside to see a tall man with a tag that read... Ryan.
"Iris!" my dad screamed "I missed you!"
We hugged for what seemed like forever.
"I wish I had time to talk, but I have to go." he said "But I do love you Iris"
I was escorted to a small room that was labeled mine. As I was unpacking my things I thought about how crazy this is. I am In a place where I have like a 60% of getting shot.
I decided to walk around for a bit to calm myself.
I returned to my reservation 45 minutes later... What I saw next still haunts me until this day.
