"Ryan, we have a problem." said General Anthony "Korea is coming at us fast and we don't have enough men to send out."
"What? I thought you said we had 2000 men on north and 6000 on south!"
"We lost so many from the atomic bomb... We're going to have to surrender if we keep going like this."
My dad sighed.
"I'll go in... Please keep Iris in a safe place..."
Just as he was walking away the General said "Ryan, why don't we put her on the field? We need more soldiers."
"No that's not possible! She's a 16 year old girl with no training."
"We have no choice Ryan, She won't need training if we just put her on lookout."
I was praying my dad would disagree, what do I know about fighting in a war? All I've done is fight off bullys at school!
"Iris... Were putting you in." my dad mumbled.
"Great." said General Anthony "follow me to the sky deck with the other war entrys, in about 20 minutes we'll send you off."
He lead me to a secure room with 2 other people who looked no older than 18.
"These are the other children." he explained "why don't we give a standered introduction."
"My name is Autumn Vermont." said a red headed girl "daughter of Philip Vermont and I've been here for 3 years."
A somewhat cute guy stepped up next.
"My name is Lucas Albert, son of Earl Albert and I've been here for 6 years."
They seemed like nice people, they also seemed as terrified as I was.
"We're boarding in 15 minutes." said the general as he walked off.
Autumn walked up to me.
"You look like you don't belong here... I mean, typical war basers don't still have all the makeup... You won't make it 5 minutes I bet." She sneered.
"Not everyone is like you Autumn, she's only been here for almost a week, give her a break." said Lucas.
"Whatever, she just better not get in the way."
Autumn walked off.
"Sorry about her... She's obviously a little nervous and just wants to take it out on other people, what's your name anyway?"
"I'm Iris Densyl."
"Cool, as in Ryan and Evan Densyl? You're one lucky girl."
I laughed "Well I just figured out I had a brother yesterday so I don't really know how to answer that."
"Wow you're really something else Iris." he smiled "good luck out there." he stuck out his hand. "Thanks you too." I replied shaking it.
"It's time to go guys." said the pilot.
I hope I get to hear that sentence again.
