New Beginnings

I woke up in the morning to an empty bed, i look around in a daze and see a note.

* hey babe i went to do some errands, i left you some breakfast and coffee enjoy ill see you later.*

i took the tray and started eating, the dogs popped they're head in and see im awake and run up to me. i smile and pet them and continue eating. They lay down on thee bed and i continue to eat, i notice thee coffee and start drinking it also. i finally get up and i hear the maid in my room i call her over and hand her the tray before going into the shower. while in thee shower i start thinking about last night, he made love to me i start smiling and continue to shower. i could faintly still smell his scent in thee air. i get out the shower and get dress i feel bigger then before, i rub my belly and finish my hair and makeup. I grab my phone and text Justin letting him know i was also going to step out and handle some things, he texts back and i smile all he says is be safe and i love you. i reply back and get thee keys to my car. Haven't driven a car since my accident but i think i need to get over my fear once and for all. I get behind out the wheel and take a deep breath, and put the keys in thee ignition to start the car. i start driving slowly down the drive way when i see justin pulling in we take a quick look at ea other and i keep driving i see alil panick in his face.

my phone rings, i answer

J: why are you driving knowning a driver can drive you anywhere

K: because i need to get over this fear of cars justin i cant hide behind thee accident my whole life

J: but i need you to be careful your pregnant kat

K: im not drinking i should be fine and i dont think ill be drinking for a while

J: i just worry about you is all

K: i understand that but i should be fine if you that worried follow me to my destination or have a driver follow me but i have to get over this fear sooner or later you have to understand me too justin, i cant depend on you for ever ima have to go back to designing plus thats my work, i need to go see family need to get back into alot of things i wasnt doing because of thee accident and my memory. you said you would respect my wishes

J: never said im not just worried about you and my child is all

K:i get that but i cant be kept away from the world you have to trust in me too

J: ok ill send a driver with you and ill keep my phone near me just incase

K: ok ill see you in alil bit i promise ill be fine we'll be fine

i hang up phone and continue to drive and my anxiety kicks in but i take deep breaths and continue to go on like its nothing. i cant keep letting this fear take over my life, i pull up to my job and walk in. Pat sees me in lobby and is shocked she gives me a hug and rubs my belly.

P: what are you doing here does justin know

K: yes and no he knows i left for some errands doesnt exactly know that i came here

P: why did you come kat you need rest and healing time and your pregnant tooo

K: i need to slowly get back into my routine and no im not sayin i wanna come back full time but i need to slowly get back into my grove pat i cant keep depending on justin and neglect my repossibilities  i signed a contract with you

P: kat im not going to sue you for getting your health in order your are fine take all the time you need and you can even take your designs home and work from home at your own pace

K: i appreciate it but i wanna come back at least 2 hrs a day get back into a routine

P: ok im going to be checkin in on you constantly hope you know this your carrying my grand child

i nod my head and start walking to my office pat follows me and makes sure that im ok, i get to my office and get a few flash backs. i stand still for a second and Pats asks me if im ok, i nod my head and head into thee office. i sit in my chair and take a deep breath, I need to get it together asap. I call my voicemail and start hearing my messages and get a pad to take notes by thee end of everything I had

NOTES FROM VOICEMAIL

*call clients manager
*call my crew
* call magazine reporter
*get design book from third floor
*meeting for designers Friday at 10
*check sce for meetings
* lunch with ceo on Thursday call him back
*meade magazine interview oct 20

I start making my call backs and scedhualing things on my Mac desktop and sending and replyin to emails. Next thing I noticed is that Pats walk-in in telling me I've been working for three hours and I feel like I have t done any work. She tells me that's enough workin for today and to grab my design book and go home. I nod my head and go to thee third floor and grab my design book before leaving thee building. My cell starts ringing when I get into car

K: hello?
J: hey baby wyd?
K: about to grab some food wanna join me I'll share my location?
J: of course but babe you been gone for a couple hrs you ok?
K: was doing some errands and yes I'm fine I promise your about to see me and see for yourself
J: did you go to work is this why you being so secretive
K: your mom called you huh lol?
J: yes she did and babe dnt you think it's too soon to be at work?
K: I need a routine please understand
J: idk mayb I'll try my best I'll see you soon I love you
K: love you too

I share my location with Justin and start driving to this lol Italian restaurant. I walk in and the waiter reconizes me. He sits me in a private booth very quickly. 15 minutes later Justin walks in with some flowers. I smile watchin him walk up to me, he gives me a kiss and I kiss him back.

K: low key I missed u alil
J: I missed u too baby *hands me thee flowers*

We have a great time at lunch and I go back with him in his car someone was going to pick up my car later
