Bat out of Hell

Rengoku is the one that is sprayed in blood as Muzan steps back, hissing at the blood spilling from his wrist. His hand falls with a thud and with a strum of a Biwa, the demon lord is gone. A blade missing as he is teleported.

A sword swung down before coming into an attack-ready stance. Kokushibo breathes in and in the next moment, Kaigaku and two of the clones of Hantengu have their heads rolling, leaving Sekido and Urogi. Urogi had jumped back and now had his talons carrying Sekido to a higher platform.

Uppermoon One steps forward, facing the remaining demons, the clones regenerating.

"Go," Kokushibo ordered and Douma is already at his mates' side when Akaza jumps.

Douma hugs his mates once before ushering them to stand. Akaza holds Rengoku by the shoulders, checking him over. The alpha was only dazed for a moment, before ready to move at a shake of Akaza's hands.

"Koku-" Akaza looked over his shoulders. Kokushibo is clashing with Aizetsu and Kagaku comes to attack his back. Child's play for the demon but he was blocking Urogi's dive bombing from above.

"Go." The alpha command is the only one he follows as he takes Kyojuro by the arm and gets him to move.

A strum of a Biwa is heard and Douma is catching Shinobu by her arms as she is nearly falling into the abyss of fortress. The demon gets her steady on her feet before going to carry Kotoha. The poor omega was not meant to run in her condition.

"Akaza!" Douma throws his head to the side, gesturing to the fresh air he smells.

Just as Douma was about to turn a corner he is met with an axe barely missing his head. The alpha snarls, crouching to dodge and curl over Kotoha, the omega hiding in his neck.

"GYOMEI WAIT!!" Shinobu jumps in front of her pack and stops the Stone Hashira.

"Kocho-san! You are protecting a demon?" Gyomei sniffs the air and Kyojuro makes his presence known before the slayer could say more.

"We must leave this place!" The alpha looks back and Akaza can feel goosebumps grow on his skin.

Gyomei nods and before Shinobu can argue, she is picked up.

Kokushibo is dodging more attacks, using the see-through world, trying to find the mini Hantengu or find Nakime. Either will make his life easier.

Especially when it seems his omega was left behind in the chaos of the pack leaving.

A growl builds in his throat as he slashes the heads of the three clones before him. Sekido strikes his staff to the ground and Kokushibo grabs Muichiro before he can be hit. His arm locks the omega to his torso, so small but a target nonetheless.

He looks around once more as the clones come again for another attack.

It was useless without killing the original.

Muichiro curls into him as he dashes away from the scene.

"KAA-SAN!!" The door had vanished and Inosuke was punching the floor, desperately trying to get the magical entrance open again.

Zenitsu is on the floor shaking as Giyuu gets up to investigate. Shinobu and Kotoha were taken by two demons, before falling into a door that had appeared.

Sanemi dashes in with Kanao.

"What the fuck happened?!?" Before Giyuu can answer another scream is heard.

"RENGOKU-SAN!!" Inosuke looks up from his attempt and the group is moving.

Genya is running the halls as well as the group of six making it inside Tanjiro's room where Nezuko is kneeling on the floor. Her hands are holding the door open, her muzzle breaking at how tight her jaw is. Tanjiro is on his bed, still immobile and Kanao comes over to check on him.

Sanemi and Giyuu rush to Nezuko's side looking into the darkness.

Sanemi is the one to snarl as a sound comes from the door. Kanao, Giyuu, and Sanemi unsheathed their swords as Genya draws his gun aiming at the door. Nezuko has to lean away as an axe and flail is thrown from the door and a large hand comes to grasp the door frame.

"Gyomei-san!" Genya comes forward helping his mentor out as he carries Shinobu on his shoulder. The large alpha looks to the other Hashira before simply shaking his head.

"Don't attack." Sanemi is snarling when jumping from the door comes Kyojuro followed by Douma with Kotoha.

The demon is rapidly looking around, lips curling at the slayers. Sanemi especially wants to attack but Shinobu blocks him.

Akaza is jumping through next and Kanao feels Tanjiro tense under her grip.

Uppermoon Three looks down and his jaw is tensing as a strum of a Biwa is heard. Nezuko is struggling to keep the door open and Akaza holds the frame with a foot and hand, his other hand reaching down.

"Hurry up you bastard!" The strength he was using to keep the door open was making his whole body shake.

Finally, jumping into a now very crowded room is Kokushibo with Muichiro. Nezuko and Akaza let go and the door slams shut disappearing. The last Uppermoon is looking around, sword still unsheathed ready to strike. Sanemi, Giyuu, Gyomei, and Inosuke are flaring their scents.

So many flaring scents and Tanjiro is panting. Kanao is getting closer, watching her sister. Kyojuro steps between the two opposing sides and holds his hands up to keep them separated.

"We need to -!" Before Kyojuro could finish speaking, the three uppermoons are curling over in pain.

"Alpha!" Muichiro is holding his alpha's arm as his eyes shut tightly.

"Akaza!" Kyojuro is taking hold of Akaza's shoulders as they shake.

"Douma!" Kotoha is pulled away by Inosuke as the tall demon falls to his side, foam coming to his mouth. Shinobu seeing all three reacting knows what's happening.

Muzan was activating his curse, trying to kill them.
