The Next Morning

Scotty's Pov.
I woke up to the sunlight, and a cool breeze.
I tried to sit up, but failed due to pain.
I couldn't remember why I was in pain for a moment. Until I realized.. I then looked to my left to see if Benny was there. He wasn't.
Where is he? I looked up at the clock, 8:15am. I never sleep in this late.. well, last night was a bit.. tiring, and long.
All of a sudden, Benny walked through the door.
He smiled when he saw me awake.
"You're awake! Good morning, mi amor." He said with a smile. He wasn't dressed like he had gone anywhere, or anything.
"Where were you?" I asked.
"Downstairs. Making the love of my life, who can't walk breakfast." He said with a chuckle.
"Very funny. You're the reason i can't walk."
He laughed.
"Oh come on, you're gonna have to get used to it. This isn't the only time we're gonna do it" he said as he laughed again.
He was right,
"I know, but it was my first time,"
"I know. It was my first time too." He said. I got up, it didn't hurt too bad. I could walk. He did however have to help me down the stairs. Once I got into the kitchen, I sat on the counter like always. He continued to make breakfast.
I looked at him with amaze. He is so hot.
I then saw a bag on the other counter. It was small.
"Benny, what's that bag?" I asked as I pointed to it.
Benny looked at the bag, and smiled.
"Oh this?, this is your birthday present from me. I wasn't able to give it to you yesterday." He said as he picked it up, he brought it over to me. I grabbed it, and began to open it
I pulled out a note, then another set of matching bracelets, and promise rings.
The rings were beautiful,
"Oh Benny, these are beautiful!" I said with a loving tone
Benny took the smaller rings and put it on my ring finger on my left hand.
"Oh baby, they're beautiful." I said again. He put his ring on his ring finger.
"Read the note mi amor," Benny said. I picked up the note and slowly opened it. I pulled out the piece of paper, and unfolded it.
The note read,
"Mi amor, I'm so proud of you for how far you've come. I'm so proud of you for dealing with the hate you've gotten, with your parents who don't accept you, and me. I'm so in love with you, nothing can express how much I love you. You've gone through so much, and everyday you still have a smile on your face. And I love that smile. Ever since I saw you sitting on your front porch, I knew I was gonna be with you. I could tell I liked you before I even got to know you. I love you more everyday. There has never been a day were I loved you less. You're an angel, and I never understand why anyone would hurt you. Exp, Your parents, Philips, and people who've made you cry. I could never imagine hurting you.
And I regret it everyday. I regret not going to the drug store with you that day.. You got hurt, and I wasn't there to protect you. But I swore to myself, that from that day forward. I will protect you, and give you everything you want and deserve. You deserve the whole world. I love you. And I hope you'll never stop loving me.

I had tears in my eyes, happy tears. I looked at Benny who had finished breakfast and put it on plates for me and him.
"Baby.." i said softly..
"Yes mi amor?" He asked as he got closer to me. He got in between my legs while I was on the counter.
I cupped his cheeks.
"I love you, and I will never stop.. You make me so happy, more than anything could express. You are my king, and you mean more to me than anyone ever has. I love you, and I'll never leave you." I said softly.

He gave me a soft smile, and kissed me. I kissed him back.
He gave me my plate, and we ate our breakfast.

After breakfast, we got dressed to go to the sandlot. It was later than we intended.
We were walking, and there still was a little bit of pain. But not a lot.
We walked into the sandlot, like nothing had happened the night before.
When the guys saw us they wanted to know about last night.
"Tell us what happened!" Squints said.
I looked at Benny, blushing from embarrassment.. why did they want to know?
"I-uh.. why do you guys need to know?" Benny asked.
"Well, Benny. You're the first one in our group to get it on. Duh." Kenny said.
So, after a bit of them bugging us. We told them what happened. Benny seemed proud of it halfway through the story. Everyone was so invested. But I just sat there on the bench with my legs crossed. And embarrassed.
Why did they need to know about Benny and I's sex life? Benny was telling everyone about it. With confidence in his voice.
After the story was finished we all played a game.
Like every other day, I'm in the same spot, at the same time, doing the same thing. Second base. As Benny batted, I stood in position. Noticing every time he looks at me or winks at me. He loves me so much. And I love him.
Once it was roughly around 7:30pm. We decided to call it a night. Benny and I walked home, hand in hand.
We arrived home to Benny's mom setting the table for dinner. We put our stuff away, cleaned ourselves up. And sat down with her to eat. We talked, we laughed, and we smiled.
After dinner, Benny and I went upstairs to chill out and relax.
"Baby, I'm gonna take a shower." I said as I grabbed one of Benny's shirts and clean boxers.
"Okay, love." Benny replied as he was doing whatever he was doing.
I went to the bathroom, grabbed a towel and put it on the counter. I stripped myself of my clothes and turned on the water. When it got to the right temperature, I stepped inside. My body immediately relaxed. It has been an eventful couple days. I washed my hair and body. And just relaxed. I was tired. I was tired when I woke up, but Benny wanted to get to the sandlot. So I got up.
As I was done with my shower I turned off the tap and grabbed the towel from the counter. I stepped out of the shower, and wrapped the towel around me. I dried myself off, and got dressed in the little clothing I had. I dried my hair with the towel, and hung it up. I threw my dirty clothes into the hamper and went back to the bedroom.

Benny's Pov.
As I was laying on my bed, thinking about my lover. And how much I love him. He walked in the bedroom. When I noticed him, I smiled. He's so cute. I held my arms open. Gesturing for him so lay with me. He did so, and we laid there. Talking about things we love about each other, and things we love in general. And we talked until we couldn't remember. We talked, and laughed for hours...
Until.. finally.. we decided it was time to sleep...
With both of us in our arms, and our love together... We fell asleep.

I'm soooooo sorry for how long this last chapter took. But do not worry!!! This is not the end for the story!
There will be a sequel to this book! But when school has started.
And there will also be a prequel. A little story of Benny's life before Scotty moved there. And how Scotty's life was before he moved. And when he met Benny. And how they caught feelings for each other. And how Benny asked Scotty out. I will continue with this. It might take me a minute though.
