Ep 8

Jimin, right now, is staring at Jungkook, regretting his entire life... He looked at him, literally, with a 'are you serious' look as Jungkook continued

"So careless! You're saying that you managed to roam around the house after you fainted!? That too after a attack?! Just because you were worried about me!

Worry about yourself first, jimin... How can you be so careless with your health, huh!?

Wait... Are you even listening..?"

"Yes, sunbae... May I remind you that it's been one hour since you started scolding me..?"

"You should have behaved better, then..!"

Jungkook said as jimin, who got restless, snapped

"I was just worried about you, hyung! Why do you have to scold me for literally an hour!?"

Both Jungkook and Jimin froze at the spot, after Jimin's sudden outburst, but for different reasons...

Jimin froze because he just snapped back at Jungkook, who hated him and bullied him, and was afraid that Jungkook's gonna hate him all over again... They both nearly got along, and Jimin felt like he ruined it all...

Well, as for Jungkook, It's a whole different story... He froze as the younger called him Hyung... He felt that Jimin felt comfortable enough to call him 'Hyung' and he felt happy for it, not knowing the crisis that Jimin is going through... Jungkook suddenly felt happy that Jimin felt comfortable with him, but he doesn't know why it makes him happy...  He really felt internally happy, but didn't show it to Jimin...

"I-I'm sorry, sunbae-nim...I didn't m-mean to...snap at you..."

Jimin stuttered, looking at Jungkook nervously... Jungkook's little happiness fell, as he heard him call him sunbae again... He unconsciously pouted, and said

"But why can't you call me 'hyung'~"'

Jimin didn't know how to respond to Jungkook now...

Is Jungkook really not angry with him..? Does he want him tk call him hyung..? Jimin's mind was full of  such questions...

Meanwhile Jungkook was getting embarrassed... He didn't mean to blurt his thoughts out like that... He just was thinking about it and unconsciously spilled the tea...

Additional fact that is maing him more embarrassed is that jimin is not replying to him at all...

Jimin stuttered

"I-I can all you ..hyung..?"

"Uh...yes...I prefer that to sunbae...you know..."

"Hmm... I...am hungry...hyung"

Jungkook looked at jimin with a soft smile and said

"I'll go bring you some ramyeon... And we shall- oh! We need to go shopping... We are running out of supplies..."

"Supplies..? But hyung... It's dangerous..!"

Jimin exclaimed...

"We have no other choice, jimin... We need those to survive in here.

I wish I could go alone and leave you here safely, but I promised Jin hyung that I will'nt leave you alone even for a minute..."

"No... If you're going, I'll go with you... I will... Protect you... If I can..."

Jungkook gave a small giggle and said

"Ok now... We'll go and eat, okay? We shall go to the nearby store later in the evening..."

"Ne, hyung..."

Soon, evening sunlight shined crimson red, creating a beautiful scenary out there... Jimin and Jungkook are there outside, with utmost caution, finding their way to the car...

Jimin and Jungkook safely got in... The previous monster that appeared is found to be nowhere..

They both got in the car and Jungkook warned jimin

"Look... If those monsters caught me... Just in case... Run... Leave me and keep yourself safe, okay?"

Jimin just stared at Jungkook with a 'are you serious' face...

Jungkook urged

"Say something.. "

"I... Will try to keep both of us safe..."

Jimin said with a determined face, which actually shows that he's afraid and nervous about going...

Jungkook just smiled to himself, and started driving towards the supermarket...

They saw a few zombies moving here and there... Jungkook made sure that they don't attract the attention of any of them...

They reached the shop in no time.. both of them got down the car and peeped into the shop... They found that the shop had no people, completely empty...

Not even the shop owners were there... Probably they were afraid and evacuated... They went in and got themselves a bag to collect their needs...

Jungkook quickly started putting everything and anything they might need in the bag... Jimin too, tried to help Jungkook in finding items... The whole time, they never spoke a word to each other...

As they were done, they were about to pack up and leave, until they heard a thud coming from the outside...

Jimin got scared, and scooted near Jungkook and held him tightly, both in fear and to prevent the older from doing something reckless...

They both stood frozen in the place they stood, trying to trace from where the sound is coming from...

Jungkook quietly said

" don't be afraid..."

And held jimin in his arms tighter.

They both waited for anymore traces of sounds, but they heard none, other than the first rattle...

Jungkook loosened the grip on jimin and slowly went towards the exit door,  and peeped outside to see if they have anymore danger...

It all happened all of the sudden...

One zombie jumped on Jungkook and tried to bite his neck... He tried his level best to fight back, but the monster was too strong for him to hold back..

"JUNGKOOK HYUNG!"

Jimin screamed on top of his lungs and was about to move towards Jungkook to save him...

The monster bit Jungkook in the neck harshly, as Jungkook let out a pained scream, and let out a monstrous growl saying

"LEAVE JIMIN!"
