"LEAVE JIMIN!"

Jungkook shouted as that thing that bit him, left the store in satisfaction, not noticing that there is a crying and trembling boy in the others side...

"No! No... I won't leave you like that... There must be a way... There must be..."

Jimin said as Jungkook growled

"I CAN FEEL IT, JIMIN..! IM TURNING..! LEAVE! NOW!"

"I won't! I promised, remember..?"

Jimin said as he went towards Jungkook... Jungkook let out a strained growl and looked at jimin with a pleading face... Jimin stopped, noticed that Jungkook's eyes are already turning pale and he's turning..

Jimin said

"No... Please... Hyung... Don't...leave me like this..."

Jimin said as Jungkook let out a scream in pain, jimin let his tears fall freely...

Jungkook, turned fully and let an inhumane growl... Jimin just stood where he was earlier...

It didn't take long for Jungkook to notice the small boy standing on the side... He ran towards jimin and jumped in him trying to bite him...

Jimin didn't even oppose Jungkook... Something in him said that he's lost something that he shouldn't have... Something that means something to him...

For the first time in long time, jimin had someone who cared for him and his illness... Now that he lost that person too, he was heartbroken...

He didn't even fight Jungkook... He just let his tears fall and closed his eyes in fear...

In no time, jimin could feel the pain on his neck, stinging real bad... Jimin felt his consciousness slowly leaving his body... The stinging pain slowly felt like fading away...

He fell down from Jungkook's tight embrace and let go of himself... He was sure that he's either gonna turn into those things or just die...due to his illness...

"I-I am... S-Sorry... Jungkook...hyung... It... Was nice knowing... The real you...

I'm... Sorry... I failed... To k-keep..
My promise..."

Jimin said, to now mindless Jungkook, who just gave a pained scream in return...

Slowly, jimin was about to close his eyes until

"J-Jimin..? OMG... JIMIN..!"

He saw the state of jimin, his bitten neck and him slowly losing his consciousness...

Jungkook quickly bent down and let out his tears saying

"Jimin... O-Oh... God... What have I done..?"

Jimin, who was still half conscious, said weakly

"J-Jung...kook hyung..? H-Hyungie? A-are you... Feeling... Okay..?"

"JIMIN!... Jimin... Stay with me, okay... Stay with hyungie... We... We will get some band-aids to cover your wound... And we'll go home real quick and... Get you your oxygen mask and meds...

Stay... Please... Jimin..."

"I-I will... Try... My best... But... Please... Just... Let's... Go home... Please..."

He said, weakly and panted with almost every word... Jungkook muttered a small 'wait' and ran to fetch band-aids for himself and jimin...

There, in the medicine section, he found a tablet that Jin prescribed to jimin... He quickly grabbed those and a water bottle and went to jimin...

"Jimin..! Jimin... You gotta swallow these... Your meds... Please..."

Jungkook said as he lifted jimin up from cold floor and made the limp boy sit, by giving him support with other hand....

Jimin, tried his level best and swallowed the pills that Jungkook gave him... He tried really hard not to faint, as he will only trouble Jungkook more if he does...

He stayed as awake as he could and said

"Let's... Leave this place... Soon... Jebal..."

Upon hearing the younger's weaker voice, Jungkook immediately supported the younger to get up and took the groceries on the other hand and left the place as soon as they can...

They reached home... Jimin got a lot better than he was during the car ride back home, but still felt very weak, which he usually does during his attacks due to illness...

They both went inside and Jungkook treated the wound on jimin's neck due to his bite... Jimin too, offered to treat Jungkook his wound, to which Jungkook agreed.

Jimin is now cleaning the wound as Jungkook said

"I... Don't understand... How is it possible that... I came back... Very much alive and not monster like... After I bit you... And nothing happened to you..."

Jimin, avoiding eye contact with Jungkook, said

"I'm... Glad that you came back...I can't bear it when you turned... I thought I was gonna lose you..."

Jimin said with seriousness and dedication, and Jungkook realised that the younger really means it...

Jungkook couldn't find right words to reply the younger... He felt undescribable feeling when he heard the words 'i can't bear it' from jimin... But he really felt grateful for that...

Jimin, not wanting them to get too emotional, said

"Maybe... We should tell Jin hyung about this... He might know the answer to these questions..."

Jimin said as he felt Jungkook nod, while he just finished treating the clear bite mark from that beast...

Jungkook turned away from jimin as he felt his tears welling up... He thought he had the need to explain himself to the younger... He said

"You know, I came back only after biting you... Before that, I didn't know what happened around me... Only when I bit you, I felt like I just woke up from unconsciousness, and saw you in that state...

I..am sorry jimin... I failed... To protect you..."

Jimin turned the boy to face him and said,  looking into the eyes of the older

"It's not your fault, hyungie... I... It's just... unfortunate that it happened... Don't beat yourself for that..."

Jungkook looked into the eyes of the younger with the same fondness, they both had a feeling that they couldn't explain...

Jungkook, still felt really bad that this happened... He still feels that he is responsible for what happened... If... He didn't trun back again, jimin could have died. And he felt that it was all his fault.

He himself didn't notice that tears are welling up on his eyes again..

As Jimin saw Jungkook was about to cry, he tried lighten up the mood, said

"But... Hyungie... Was my blood tasty..? You kept sucking it..."
