Chapter 1

Fuzz - now Fuzzgoose by the words of StarClan- trekked through the sand with her group of Keepers that wanted her to be the leader. Of course, the entire group was still together, but the groups have already split into separate groups because of the leaders they have chosen to follow, the same leaders back when the Twolegs were destroying their former home.

Fuzzgoose was the leader of the group who included Wolf, now Wolfblotch, Borage who became Boragewisp, Ashmoss, Riverclaw, Amberbite, Oat who became Oatpaw and was apprenticed to Wolfblotch, and they also had a new cat join them during the journey to their new home, Sock, who became Clawpaw and was given to Amberbite. Howlkit and Honeykit had also joined Fuzzgoose's group.

Petuniablossom was another leader of a group who had included Sneezewhisker, Fluffglide, Owlmuzzle, Rattlepaw, Luckpaw, Locustkit, and Siltkit. Rattlepaw and Luckpaw were given to Petuniablossom and Sneezewhisker. A loner name Pine joined their group and was renamed Pineember.

Fierceember was leader of a group that included Sporeleap, Sloestream, Flowerchomp, Thistlefleck, Ridgepaw who was apprenticed to Flowerchomp, Murkkit, and they had also found two abandoned kittens, Cloud and Faded and took them in as well.

Lighttail, who concerned Fuzzgoose the most with his more aggressive nature, was a leader to Wisptail, Heavyshriek, Clawcurl, Budtree, Houndkit, and soon took in Snowkit.

The group of cats soon faced the water - what the kittypets called the 'ocean' - and Fuzzgoose smiled at the beauty of all of it. The sand that felt soothing on her paw pads, the ocean letting out its song of battle as the waves crashed, and the salty breeze swirled around them, blowing gently against Fuzzgoose's fur.

As the cats gazed at the ocean, there was a yowl coming from one of the apprentices. Clawpaw started to race down to the water and started to splash around in it. Riverclaw also joined in and started to tackle the apprentice. The cats purred in amusement at the sight of the cats that started to join them and play around in the water. Fuzzgoose smiled. This seemed like a good home.

However, Fuzzgoose still felt unsafe. She looked back at the cats and felt her fur start to prickle when she saw a Twoleg den in the distance. She let out a yowl which made the rest of the cats stop and looked at Fuzzgoose in confusion.

"This isn't a good place to stay, Twolegs will come during greenleaf." She explained. The cats gazed at each other with worry. "Well, what are we going to do then?" Asked Fierceember, who lashed her large fluffy tail around. Fuzzgoose looked around and sighed. "I think that we should continue searching for a home." She answered. Petuniablossom sniffed. "For all of us? I thought that we were making separate Clans." She asked. Fuzzgoose frowned. "No, we'll find one for one of our groups, and soon another, and so on."

Petuniablossom rolled her eyes. "That seems mouse-brain, let's just find our own camps and just meet up later." She said. Fuzzgoose hesitated but thought it over and nodded. "Okay, that seems reasonable." She agreed and she watched as most of the Keepers soon left her. She suddenly felt very worried, the rest of her group was so small, and it made her a bit self-conscious. She shook off the insecurity and faced her new Clan.

"Now, we must go and fend on our own." She announced. Some of the cats in the group seemed a bit troubled, but a dappled dark gray she-cat stepped forward, glancing around the cats around her. "Come on, we can find our own territory. We can get through all of this!" Ashmoss yowled. This made many faces of many cats lighten up and new confidence seemed to flow through them.

Fuzzgoose smiled at them, proud of her clanmates, even if they weren't technically a Clan. Yet. They padded across the beach, and trying to find any good spots that would be a good camp for them to call home.
