"So, explain it again." Diego asked, Lila sat next to him and holding their daughter close. "Ugh, for the last time, it's Dusk opening night. You know that she's wanted to be a performer since we were kids! And this song involves all the girls, as the opening number." Klaus responded. "So why did she get the girls involved?" Sloane questioned. "She wanted to get them into it since the song she was making, it needed the sort of rap theme and needed more singers. Lila had already suggested little redhead to her, Astrid was more than happy to do it and Dahlia, well, she was a bit problematic." The phoenix's lover answered. The Umbrella gang and the others were sat in a theatre that was near Dusk, Klaus, Five and Victoria's new home. With the money they had earned from working part-time jobs, Dusk had enough money to purchase it for her own use and wanted to turn it into a performing studio; where she could put on shows for her soon to be fans.
"I'm excited to see Astrid perform!" Sloane smiled. "As am I with Dusky!" Klaus agreed. Luther, Viktor Diego looked over to see Ben and Five not commenting on their girls. They didn't seem excited at all. "You two don't seem happy." Luther pointed out. "What?" Ben asked, in an offended tone. "He means, aren't you two happy to see Victoria and Dahlia perform live?" Viktor cleared up to relieve the tension. "I guess." Five mumbled, going back to sip on his drink. Ben just didn't answer and looked back at the stage. "Nah, they're just gonna get a little visit from Bonerville when seeing those two." Lila snickered. "Shut up!" Five and Ben shouted together to the laughing lady.
Meanwhile, backstage, the four girls were getting ready. Victoria was sorting out her wavy hair, Dahlia is fixing her lipstick, Astrid was adjusting her dance dress and Dusk was taking some deep breaths. Victoria noticed her friend's breathing and got up, accidentally knocking into Dahlia. This caused her lipstick to smear across her cheek. "Are you f*cking serious?!" Dahlia exclaimed. "Relax, you're pale as sh*t and you have time to reapply. Although, you look good as a clown." Victoria scoffed, her focus going back to Dusk. Astrid tried to stifle a laugh at the comment. The redhead kneeled down to Dusk, and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Everything okay?" Dusk looked at her, her eyes widened and her chest going at a rapid pace. "Sorta, it's just I've never really danced AND sang in front of people before. Not to mention, our family and friends will be out there watching us as well." She frantically said. Dusk then went on to exclaiming about how she could do wrong up on stage, that she could trip while dancing, she could mess up the lyrics, or that she could disappoint Klaus. "Dusk! You'll be fine." Victoria cut her off. "How do you know that?" Dusk asked. "Dusky, I've seen you in action. You've beaten a**, you've stood up for anyone you care for, you've fought to get your happy ending and time and time again, you've always been an amazing person." The redhead said. Dusk smiled and hugged her best friend, thanking her. "Now let's go do a show."
The girls were all dressed in bodysuit dance dresses, designed to their colours. Dusk was dressed in a bodysuit based around her phoenix temper, the outfit was dawned in red and strands the same colour, orange and yellow as a skirt and across.
