Victoria played with Pennycrumbs, teaching the golden retriver how to spin and stand on his own hind legs. She just needed to tune out the vocals of Five as he spoke to everyone. Victoria didn't want to hear anything he said; should she just tear his throat here in front of everyone? No, it isn't worth it. She preferred to let him suffer in silence...the best kind. He knew what he did, and he clearly hasn't shown any remorse to her. Any time they locked eyes, she felt her love for him to fade ever more, near to the point there wasn't any left in her system. It was better this way.
"Well, on that super happy note," Sloane started as she and Luther stood up. "we've got a little annoucement to make..." He continued. "We're engaged!" However, everyone just gave dismal experssions in response. Victoria scoffed with an eye roll; how could they possibly possess something so tragic? "Now?" Allison questioned in disbelief. "Look, we realise the timing is less than ideal. But obviously, it's now or never, am I right Five?" Luther tried to find agreement, but Five just dismissed him. Hm, sounds ironic, doesn't it?
"Whatever time we have left, we want to spend it with all of you." Sloane said, sincerely. "So, we're super pumped if you would join us in the banquet hall at 6pm for a celeberation of our love, and the official union of what's left of our two great families." Dusk gave a sweet smile to the idea; a wedding didn't seem so bad in times like this. Everyone seemed to be slightly on board, until a loud laugh sounded out. It was Victoria, litreally holding on her stomach as she laughed.
