I'm Here (Harry and Matilda Cover)

It certainly wasn't a nice day for the Potter family, this day especially.

That day was full of surprises for Maisie and Aidan, coming to learn that they had a little sister all along. Somehow a little girl under the name of Matilda had come along that morning, telling the entire team of how she escaped a mad woman that had unfortunately killed her caretaker and was in search of her real family. What surprised the two elders the most was how she had the scar mark of their father that they had too, Maisie's on her shoulder and Aidan's on the left side of his chest. And of course, the two were happy to hear that there was another of them, but were also filled with rage and sorrow of how their parents had never told them of this fateful event.

"Why did you never tell us?!"

The minute they both had the chance, Aidan and Maisie marched to their family home with Matilda, Five, Nicky and Serena following behind. It was the screams of the girl as tears filled her and Aidan's eyes and the sight of the long-lost child that brought chills to Harry's spine. Five, Nicky and Serena had never heard the two scream so loudly before at anyone. Harry could only stare longer at his two elder children with that grief feeling of all those years coming back as they began to scream more questions of why he or Ginny never told them about Matilda. "Okay, maybe we should tone it down a bit..." Nicky stammered. "Stay out of this." Aidan spat, the quad slowly backing away. 

"We didn't want to trouble you two with this." Harry simply replied as tears now filled his eyes. "Well, it's certainly troubling us now!" Maisie yelled. Harry swallowed his own words, he knew there was no way of explaining this and getting Maisie and Aidan to forgive him. 

H: Don't cry, she is here, my boy and girl

H: Please don't cry, dry your eyes

H: Wipe away your tears, my boy and girl

H: Forgive me, I didn't mean to desert her

H: Don't cry, my boy and girl

H: Nothing can hurt her now, you've got nothing to fear

H: She's here

Harry expected for the two to do something but all they could do was turn away and wipe their tears, not wanting to look at the man who kept a secret that now mattered most to them. He only smiled at the trio behind them, with his long-lost daughter standing close to Five and Nicky whilst holding their hands, before making his way up the stairs to his office and slamming the door behind him. Maisie and Aidan only sat themselves on the stairs as they started to cry again. Matilda looked at them both, wiping her eyes and then grabbing a few tissues from the box beside Serena. She gave some to the trio, who thanked her quietly, before she went over to her siblings. 

M: Don't cry, brother and sissy

M: I'm alright, brother and sissy

M: Please don't cry

M: Here, let me wipe away your tears

H: Forgive me

M: Brother, sissy, forgive me

H: I didn't mean to desert her

M: I didn't want to upset you two

M: Please, brother and sissy, don't cry/H: Don't cry, my dears

M: I'll be alright

M: With you two and them by my side, I have nothing to fear/H: Nothing can hurt her now, you've nothing to fear

M: I'm here/H: She's here

Maisie and Aidan engulfed her in a hug, Matilda holding on tightly to her brother and sister. "We're sorry..." Aidan whispered. Matilda only wiped a tear from his cheek and kissed his cheek. "There's nothing to fear, I'm just happy to be home now." She muttered in reply. Serena, Five and Nicky smiled at the sight of the hug as the woman caressed her stomach, hoping Aidan would be the same with their child once she was here. However, as Harry continued his paperwork in his office, the rage at the person who took his youngest child filled him and replaced that guilt feeling. It caused him to throw the paper across the desk and onto the floor. "That monster...that demon...stealing my own children to gain own benefits, is it?!" He exclaimed at the top of his lungs. Harry then flew out of his office, down the stairs past his three children and three in-laws and out of the door as the unfairness of those monsters cruelty spun around inside him. It became a great storm of fury that his mind could no longer contain. 

"Harry, darling, where are you going?" Ginny yelled out to her husband, just as Megamind and Minion joined him as they trailed after him in the invisible car the uncle had created. "Ginny, what's going on?" Serena asked her mother-in-law. And it was then in that moment, that Ginny realised what he was going to do, it seemed that the elder children weren't the only ones who could commit such acts to people. "Maisie, Aidan, what's Daddy going to do? Is he going to hurt someone?" Matilda asked as she stayed in the arms of the duo. "Pops would never step to murder at anyone...even people who hurt the family. He's...just going to tell those people some things." Aidan reassured to the little girl. She nodded gently and only went back to hugging the two, which they returned.
