Aurora picked her phone up almost instantly as the call came through, her heart filling with joy as his beaming face came on the screen, "I'm so proud."
"It's official," he said through his smile, "You're a good luck charm." She laughed at this, her eyes squinting slightly, "Or maybe im just psychic, who knows?"
He put his hands up in surrender at this as he climbed into his car, "Or perhaps both."
"Wouldn't that be fun.." And then she softened her gaze and smiled a sweet smile, catching Lando of guard, "Seriously though, well done. You drove amazing today."
This made Lando shy - no one made Lando shy. But here we was blushing like a school girl, and he couldn't help but look away. "You tryna say I don't drive well any other day, hm?" Play it off, be cool.
The teasing look her gave her made her smirk, "Who's a self aware boy." she cooed at the screen mimicking Lando from there last call. The driver chuckled at this, "Very good." Aurora burst out in giggles, "Really original."
"Thanks I was quite proud of it."
They fell into a comfortable silence as Lando sorted his stuff around in his car, until he brought his attention back to his phone - or rather whatever notification was coming through, "Hey, I'm gonna have to go," he said as he cleared his throat, "Can i call you back in a minute."
This faltered Aurora's expression, "Erm yeah, of course, "I'll speak to in a bit, Rory." And the call ended. She furrowed her brows slightly - how odd. Rory. "He called me Rory." Now she was the one tinted pink.
But he didn't call back.
