Chapter 1 ~ Red Snow

You watched your breath leave your mouth as you shivered walking down the snowy streets of snezhnaya, nobody seemed bothered by the now, nobody but you. You weren't accustomed to the cold weather here, it didn't matter that you had Snezhnayan blood flowing through your veins, somebody who was raised and lived in Sumeru most of their life wouldn't be very comfortable living in a place such as this.

Feeling your teeth chatter you started regretting your life choices more and more by the minute. You had a goal with coming to Snezhnaya but right now the only thing you wanted was a warm coffee shop. Coffee was your thing, you adored it, along with a nice crisp cigarette. That's all you wanted at the moment.

Being able to read some Snezhnayan you hastily found your way to the nearest coffee shop and ran to the seat furthest away from the door to escape the spine chilling weather. Ordering a small cup of coffee with a tiny amount of milk and no sugar you sat in your seat thinking of your next step, what were you going to do now? How would you even find him from here? Snezhnaya was a giant nation, how would you possibly find him?

Sitting in the smoking sections of the shop you lit one up and pondered.
"He seems somewhat popular these days, not for good reasons though as it seems. Nobody who works religiously for the fatui can have popularity for any good reason.."

"I wonder if I asked around if people would give me dirty looks or simply just ignore me."

Sighing you came up with the conclusion that if you somehow got into fatui dealings it would bring you closer to finding that horrid man.

In no way did you like him, but he inspired you, not only as a doctor but as a scientist.
Seeing yourself as quite a woman of science you wondered how he had gained knowledge and experience so quickly, you both were the same age after all and you were nowhere near his expertise.

Burdened with a life long illness you would never be able to recover from, you always wanted more from life, a seek for immortality. People had achieved such things before, which meant it wasn't impossible for you, except you would need much more experience than you had, perhaps a teacher to show you the ways of a true, and proper scientist.

You needed to find him, quick.

Beginning your official search you seeked out a nearby Fatui headquarter in hopes of somehow finding your way to the man. You didn't want to admit it but that man was your only hope at this point, your illness had progressed far quicker than you had anticipated..

You didn't want your life to end, you had goals and dreams for the future, you truly wanted to be an amazing scientist, maybe not one who was obsessed with immortality but if you wanted to reach your hopes and dreams this would have to be the path you took for now. You were willing to do anything to save yourself, no matter what.

Being finally recruited into the fatui you found your days even more boring and dull than ever, that was before you revealed your medical skills to the rest of your team which then spread to your superiors. Which after that kept spreading and spreading which earned you a higher rank in the fatui.

You were moving up, making a name for yourself as a small but reliable on-scene doctor for injured agents and others but this was still not enough. Things were progressing too slow, way too slow for your illness. you needed to hurry and you knew that, something drastic was ought to happen soon or else, you would only get weaker and weaker by the day.

How could you possibly find your way to The Doctor? Could you possibly make a name for yourself? Get recognized? That's it!

You thought.
That's all you had to do, something big needed to happen from which you would gain popularity from it and get recognized from even higher- higher ups.
