"Ma'am Mr. Saxena has asked for the session to be done in the garden. He's waiting for you near the oak tree."

Esha who had been waiting for Vidyut's arrival, looked up from her book as her assistant spoke.
"Okay, I'll be there in two minutes. Nidhi can you please keep the files of today's appointments ready by the time I'm with Mr. Saxena?"

"Sure." Nidhi smiled at Esha.

Esha stood up from her chair and grabbed her phone to walk out towards the garden. When she reached the tree, she noticed Vidyut seated on the bench under the tree scrolling through his phone. As usual, he was in a formal shirt paired with formal trousers. His hair looked slightly disheveled, maybe due to running his hand through it multiple times she assumed.

"Good morning Mr. Saxena." Esha was greeted with no expectations of being greeted back. Vidyut's eyes didn't leave the screen of his phone and he gave only a small nod before gesturing Esha to have a seat. Esha noticed a tension on his forehead, as his eyebrows were furrowed and the forehead skim created layers of stressed muscles. Vidyut shoved his phone into his pockets and sat there looking at nothing in particular.

Silence preceded as none of them spoke. Esha waited patiently till Vidyut felt relaxed enough to start speaking. His eyes looked at nothing in particular but if someone had observed closely, his eyes were focused on a flower which was about to bloom just nearby.

"You're not asking anything Ms. Therapist." he voiced out suddenly breaking Esha's trance who was focused on observing him.

"I'll patiently wait till you feel comfortable about sharing your thoughts with me, Mr. Saxena."

Vidyut took in a deep breath and his eyes which always tried to avoid having her in their sight, voluntarily glanced at her.
There was absolute calm adorning her face. A calm he craved for years. The storm in him which always made his heart race like a horse, subsided when it faced her calm. His spontaneously beating heart, slowed down when his eyes met hers.

Her eyes!
Why do they have this effect on me? As if cold winds are blowing on my burning heart.

"I assume, you have something to say, Mr. Saxena. Speak whenever you feel like. I'm here and I'm listening."
She spoke softly and he couldn't help but envy her. Envy how she could make someone feel comfortable and safe.

"Something happened this morning and it gave my answer to the question. I pondered on your question for these few days and this morning a conversation with someone opened my mind to see through myself and find my answer within."

"Do you want to talk about it now?" Esha's question was for her assurance that Vidyut wasn't minding to share things with her. She wished he opened up to her as quickly as possible but being aware of how deep his wounds were she was going to stay patient and wait as long as it took.

Vidyut nodded and the next moment his hand went to his face, running it through his hair. He leaned back on the bench to sit comfortably.
