"I remember keeping it here. Did my phone grow legs when I went outside my cabin and is now playing hide-seek with me!" Esha muttered as she aggressively searched through her desk drawers for the third time.

She shuffled through the various things placed inside the drawers, but all in vain. The phone wasn't there.

"Haan bhai jeetgaya tu! Ab bas bhi kar luka chuppi!" She groaned in frustration but was startled by a sudden knock on the door.

[You win! Now stop playing hide and seek!]

"Everything all right, Ms. Therapist?" Vidyut asked, confused by her sudden outburst. He passed by her cabin, to have a look at the library on the next floor when he heard her frustrated voice.

"Absolutely yes Mr. Saxena. My phone which was placed in my drawer has suddenly decided to play hide and seek with me and now I can't find it!" she threw her arms in the air frustrated and Vidyut kept staring at her amused.

Never since he stepped into this center had he seen her this irritated and it wasn't even a big situation to be frustrated with.

"Can I help?" he offered but was dismissed by her negative nod. Even after her denial, he entered her cabin and stood right beside her maintaining a safe distance.
"Ms. Therapist..." he called out.

Esha looked at him and due to him standing nearby he could read her eyes easily. There was an unexplainable and disturbing emotion in her eyes.

Is it only the phone or there's something concerning you Ms. Therapist?

As much as his heart wanted to ask this, his mind refrained him from doing so.

"Let me help!" he said this time with more sternness in his voice but he wasn't ready for what next came out of her mouth.

"I asked the same thing of you too! Did you let me yet?"

"This isn't about me right now Ms. Therapist!" his voice suddenly turned as cold as his eyes. Esha realized that she had just hit a sensitive spot in her daze of frustration and anger, and regretted her words immediately. Her heart sank as she noticed his hurt eyes.

"I'm sorry Mr. Saxena. I didn't mean it in a bad way. You may help me." she whispered, her voice full of guilt. She stepped back assuming he would need space to stand and find her phone.
To her surprise, he fetched his phone out from his pant pocket and opened the dial pad.

"Here, dial your number and give me a call. Your phone's not on silent right?" he asked the latter handing his phone to Esha who nodded negatively at his question.

She dialed her number on his phone, which not so surprisingly, wasn't saved.
After two rings on his phone, her phone finally vibrated.

"Fuck!" she cursed as she should've kept it on the ring. Vidyut on the other hand was already on the search mission for the phone. He realized the phone wasn't kept on her table so he looked around the cabin.
After a few seconds, the phone stopped vibrating as the call ended and Vidyut gestured Esha to call again.

He walked around the cabin and stood near a small white sofa placed adjacent to the window. He bent down and moved aside the pillows placed on it only to find her phone buried under them. He picked up the phone and noticed the caller ID. A small frown appeared on his face and the next moment his eyes widened in amusement.
