In the morning,Ruby packed up all of her stuff before leaving for Ego's planet. Amber also walked beside Ruby,holding her hand.
Quill,Gamora,Drax,Ruby and Amber were leaving for Ego's planet with their luggage like a vacay while Rocket and Groot stayed with their prisoner Nebula,who Ruby can't help but feel bad for.
As they were about to leave,Rocket said to Quill,"I hope your father ain't as big of a jackass as you,orphan boy." Ruby heard his remark and furrowed her eyebrows,letting out a brief hiss.
"What is your goal? To get everyone to hate you? Because its working." Quill finished,pointing to Ruby storming off without looking at Rocket. Rocket felt saddened by Quill's remark as his ears drooped.
Seeimg Ego's ship leave in the distance,Rocket sighed. No matter how hard he tried to ignore Quill's words,those words of his still lingered in Rocket's head.
Unbeknowst to Rocket,before they even left,Ruby let a single tear drop from her eyes,and it pained her to the point where she can't even look him in the eye.
