Gamora tends to Mantis, who is still unconscious, as Nebula sits nearby. Rocket returns with Groot.
"Where's Peter?"
No response.
"Rocket, where is he!?"
Nothing.
"Rocket...ROCKET LOOK AT ME, WHERE IS HE!?"
He looks down, deciding to remain silent.Groot points in the direction of where they came from.
Seeing this, Gamora gets up, and grabs her blaster.
However, before she could go anywhere, Rocket stunned her with his own blaster.
"I'm sorry, i could only afford to lose one friend today."Rocket said,eyes wet as frick.
"Kraglin, Go!"
As Kraglin was going to,a loud voice spoke.
"Is Quill back?"
No response for this either.
"ROCKET,WHERE'S QUILL!?"
After that,Drax's yelling was drowned out by Rocket as the ship was leaving.
Ruby and Amber were already back on the ship,where Amber was running her paws through Ruby's fur as she cried silently.
Back on Ego,he was finally exploded and dead. As the planet was being destroyed by the minute, Yondu took the aero rig and carried Quill up to the galaxy's dark sky.
He put the spacesuit on Quill's chest and Quill knew what would follow.
He can't watch his adoptive father die now can he?
"He may have been your father,but he wasn't your daddy.I'm sorry I didn't do any of it right."
Peter,in shock,tried to pry the spacesuit from his body and give it to Yondu,but Yondu's hand placement prevented him from doing so.
A few minutes later,icicles started forming on Yondu's body.
Yondu's body lay motionless as the galaxy's skies were filled with Peter's anguished No's.
"No....no...NO!! NO!!! NOOOOOOO..."
