You guys have no idea how excited I was when I saw that season 2 would be about the Fables from Oz. I came up with The Wicked Witch of the West Reader years before that trailer came out and I'm so happy that she'll fit so well in the next game.
There's a lot of Snow slander in this book. While I don't mind the character, the Wicked Witch/Reader character has very opposing views so they really don't get along. I'm trying not to make Snow seem like a bitch but this is all written from Wicked Witch's/Reader's point of view and she sees Snow as a bitch. But I will have no Snow slander in the discussion/comments. Thank you.

The crinkle of a paper bag and my shoes clacking against the broken concrete sidewalk is the only thing that reaches my ears. The earthy smell of herbs surrounds me, all coming from the bag hanging at my side.
I move my old, yellow umbrella under my arm from my free hand and adjust my eyepatch over my non-dominant eye to look around the dark, sketchy neighborhood. The streetlights are crap and barely light up the pole they sit on, let alone the sidewalk below. The streets are silent in a way that would be relaxing, if I wasn't in New York City.
The sudden crash of a window breaking pierces my ears. My feet move before I can even fully register the sound. I leap into an alley on my right. I press my back against the rough brick. My heart pounds in my ears. The sound of metal being crushed and more glass breaking sounds from around the corner. This is what I get for being out this late at night. Now I'm going to die here in a filthy alleyway.
I suck in a deep breath and peek around the corner, searching for some sort of threat. A brunette man lays on top of a car with it's roof now molded to the shape of his body. The only movement is the quick up and down of his chest. A relived breath leaves me.
A bald man pops up from behind the back of the vehicle. The Woodsman drags the brunette off the car by his ankles and shoves him against the side of a bus stop. Woody's hands wrap around the sheriff's throat.
As his airway gets cutoff, the scruffy brunette's eyes turn yellow. He claws at Woody's hands, but the other man holds tight.
I clench my teeth and press myself against the brick of the alley. There's a tremble in my hands. There's nothing I can do to stop him, as much as I may want to. It'd just piss off Woody.
A woman covered in bruises suddenly slams an axe into the back of the Woodsman's head. I can't help but gasp in surprise. By the design on the handle it seems to be his own axe.
The bald man collapses onto the street and blood trails down the back of his neck before puddling around his head. The woman digs through his pockets before standing up and heading towards me with the sheriff on her tail.
I tuck myself further back into the alley so they can't see me spying.
"How much was it he owed ya?" Sheriff Bigby asks. His voice his hushed, but still reaches my ears unimpeded.
"A hundred," the woman says.
"I'm guessing it'd be bad for you to show up empty handed." There's a long pause before the prostitute answers.
"I'll be fine." The sound of cash rustling tells me the sheriff doesn't believe her. What a bleeding heart.
"Fifty-eight. It's all I got—it'll help, right? Take it." As much as the woman tries to protest, Bigby doesn't relent.
