This chapter is written in 3rd person, I know that majority of this book is written in first person, but for the sake of this chapter and my brain, it is in 3rd person.

Rocky moved one of his hands to grab Takeshi's chin, holding it softly. The other hand was placed ever so firmly on her hips. His thoughts ran wild as he tried to resist the urge to kiss the crying woman that was in his arms, but all that resistance soon faded when her once hard eyes were soft and puffy from crying. Her lips quivering, eye makeup slightly smudged. He knew where most of the eye makeup had gone and though he knew that dry cleaning was going to be annoying, he didn't care at that moment.

His once soft expression softened even more than he thought it could. She couldn't even speak properly, most of it being slurred insults and apologies. Then, and only then had she noticed her surroundings more. Rocky's shirt was unbuttoned and had lipstick stains on the collar, and there was a woman lying on the couch covered with a blanket, but she had no clothes on. Takeshi's eyes widened at her realization.

"Sorry." She mutters as she starts to back away. "This isn't supposed to happen."

Without letting Rocky say anything, she bolted. Straight down the stairs and out the club door, not a single person able to object. Even in SWORD she couldn't breath. The air felt thick and she felt sick, her eyes watering with each and every passing second. Takeshi hadn't even cared to check her phone, she didn't know where she was going but she knew that she needed a drink. And badly.

Three shots

Three shots. That is all she had in her system at that point.
Two Boys. Who were staring at her.
One. Who she'd be going home with.

The bar tender slid a shot towards Takeshi who raised a brow. Granted she'd fuck the bartender who's butter smooth skin was glistening in the lights, his tattoos of snakes and french words glaring at her, but he wasn't her type.

"The blonde boy bought it for you, said you look like you've had it rough tonight sweetling." With that, he turned and attended to another paying customer as said blonde boy sat next to her. It didn't take a genius to realize it was Cobra, his cologne was a signature scent of what smelt like firewood and sugar.

"I take it that tonight has been worse for you then it has been for anyone else?" The boy comments, avoiding eye contact at first. In his hand, he swirled a whiskey. A cheap one at that. Takeshi blinked a bit before looking over at him.

"I've had worse nights." She mumbled, taking the shot in her hand and downing it.

He grunts as he looks at her face. What use to be her eye makeup was now all over her eyes. He takes his hand and wipes a bit of it away. Something about the current situation ignited a fire inside of Takeshi that she only ever had with one person.

"Let me guess, you went to be comforted by someone and they betrayed you?" Although his voice was low and the bar was loud, she could still hear him. Clear. But he had reminded her of who she was so desperately trying to forget.
