My eyes flutter open, sunlight peaking through my window and covering my face. I grumble and roll over, my eyes burn from the lack of sleep. I recount what happened the previous days. Losing my best friend, my ex boyfriend, sleeping with the ex mugen member, and fighting Daruma Ikka's infamous Hyuga. Or rather, somewhat fighting.
I become aware of the silence. Typically I would wake up to Akumu's loudness and happiness but not today. Rolling out of bed, I hear Bunko's faint voice.
"I don't think we should tell her." I get closer to the door, a tinge of worry could be felt through the air.
"We are going to have to at some point Bunko. I cannot keep watching her to this," Akumu pauses, sighing. "It's effecting us too. I know we said we would stay beside her but this has gotten out of hand."
"I know," I open the door, met with wide eyes.
"Mornin'." I mumble as I shuffle to the kitchen, my hands shoved into my sweatshirts pockets. I can hear the sound of two people departing, Akumu walking towards her room and Bunko sitting on the couch. "Bunko.."
I turn to meet Bunko's eyes. "Hm?"
"Is.." I swallow, not realizing there was a heavy sensation in my throat, "Is Murayama doing okay?"
"He's doing fine, last I heard from Seki." She turns to open her laptop. "By the way, you should probably tell the others about Hyuga."
"It's not my battle. I won't be fighting that."
"Still, you're apart of it in some way."
"Thank you." I turn back around, hiding my face as I do.
