chapter 3

Y/n looked towards Karen when she heard her name being yelled. Eddie and Buck where already at the truck with Bobby and we're trying to rush back when the cars exploded. "Shit!" Buck said said and pulled Y/n away from the car, he made sure she was ok.

Luckily Y/n didn't get hurt that bad. "Y/n wake up." Eddie said as he took of her fire house jacket to see if she had any burns on her body. She only had one large one going along her back but that looked to be years old.

Y/n groaned as she opened her eyes. "Damn I feel like I got hit by a truck." Y/n said as the boys helped her up. At this point Hen and Chimney have left for the hospital and Y/n was checked out by another pear of Paramedics.

Karen was able to go over to Y/n. "Babe you scared me." She said and hugged her carefully. "Sorry baby." Y/n said softly. "So your a firefighter now? Looks good on you." Karen said before kissing her. "Thank you babe. I was going to tell you after my shift was over."

"I support you as long as Hen keeps an eye on you." Karen said. "She will baby." Y/n said with a smile before kissing her one last time. "I have to go back to the fire house babe." Y/n said before leaving. "Ok baby girl." Karen said softly.

Y/n when the truck with the others. "I'm all good let's go." Y/n said to buck and Eddie. "You got lucky Y/n." Eddie said with a smile. "Sometimes we need luck." Y/n said to him as they got into the truck. "She is right." Bobby said with a smile on his face.

Y/n hummed a bit as they headed to house 118. Buck and Eddie where talking about Christmas for Christopher and going to dinner at Athena's and Bobby's. Y/n not really knowing Athena and Bobby that well so she didn't say anything.

Y/n hadn't told anyone about her daughter. She spent time at her grandparents place. On the weekends and during summer, she was with a babysitter the rest of the time.. "Y/n what are you doing for Christmas?" Eddie asked. "going to spend some time with my parents." Y/n said with a smile on her face.

"That sounds fun." Bobby said. "Yeah it is. Get to see my nieces and nephews." Y/n said to him. "You have nieces and nephews?" Buck asked. "Yeah I have ten older brother's ." Y/n said to buck. "Ten?!?!?" Eddie asked. "Yeah 34 year old twins, 32 year old twins, 29 year old triplets, 27 year old, and 26 year old twins again." Y/n said.
