chapter 12

Y/n came off stage and when to her table. "You did great mommy." Rowen said as Y/n kissed her head. "Thank you my care bear." Y/n said to her with a smile. Karen and Hen walked over to Y/n. "Y/n?" Karen asked softly.

Y/n looked up, "Hi Karen, hi Hen." Y/n said as she moved her hair out her face. "You look amazing." Karen said with a smile. "So do you." Y/n said to her. "You sounded amazing up there." Hen said to her. "Thank you Hen. It's been a while since we spoke." Y/n said.

"We um..... Can we talk after the Fundraiser?" Hen asked her. "Yeah we can talk after the fundraiser. How about next week After my shift?" Y/n asked. Hen and Karen looked at each other then nods. Y/n smiled a bit before they walked off.

Karen glanced over to Y/n a few times. Y/n never had to try to hard to get Karen and Hen to like her. She had them at the word hello.

~flashback~

The day was like every other day. Hen and Karen where at the store. Karen was looking for something but couldn't find it. That was until she saw someone pick it up. "Hey I was looking for that." Karen said. Thing is the person didn't hear them cause she had headphones on.

Karen walked closer to them when she noticed it was a young woman. Maybe around 19 to 20 years old and a bit taller then herself. She walked over and tapped her shoulder. She looked up and took off her headphones. "Hello, can I help you?" She asked.

Karen froze for a second hearing her voice. "I was wondering if you know if there was any more of that item?" Karen asked pointed at the item she picked up. "This was the last one. I was picking it up for my parents." She said. Karen nods, "I'm Karen by the way." Karen said to her. "I'm Y/n." The young woman said. Hen walked over to them.

"Hi. Babe are you ready?" Hen asked Karen. "um yeah. Hen this is Y/n." Karen said. "Hi I'm Karen's wife." Hen said to Y/n. "Hello." Y/n said with a smile on her face. Hen felt her heart flutter. "Um here is our number. Call us." Hen said with a smile on her face.

Hen sighs a bit and looked down. "I remember when we fell in love with her." Hen said softly. "Me too. It was when we first meet " Karen muttered softly. Hen smiled a bit. "Mom, momma do you really like that woman that was singing earlier?" He asked Hen and Karen. He didn't really remember Y/n.
