It had been a few weeks since Karen, Hen and Y/n when on any dates and Christmas was coming up when the team where called to cover a shift. Y/n had left Rowen with her parents who where staying for the week. "I'm sorry mamá I have to go to work." Y/n said to her mom.

Y/n kissed Rowen's head. "¿Por qué tienes que irte, hija mía? (1)" Y/n's mom asked her. "Llamaron los bomberos, no tienen nadie para hoy mami.(2)" y/n said and kissed her mom and dad's head before she left. Her mom sighed a bit before looking at Rowen.

Y/n had just gotten to the firehouse parking in the parking lot. She sighed a bit and got out to go in. She wanted to be at home with her daughter but things changed and she couldn't do much about it. "Hey cap." Y/n said as she was walking to the changing room. "Hey Y/n" Eddie said to her.

"Hola Eddie, ¿cómo está la familia?(3)." Y/n asked as she put her hair up in a bun. Eddie was slightly surprised but smiled. "Lo están haciendo muy bien Y/n. no sabía que sabes español." Eddie said to her. "Crecí en una casa con dos idiomas." Y/n said and shrugged.

Y/n walked into the changing room where Hen was also getting changed. "Hey Hen." Y/n said softly as she when to change. Hen looked up and her eyes soften and smiled a bit. "Hi Y/n." Hen muttered. She was still annoyed with Y/n and so was Karen. "I think we should break up Hen." Y/n said softly. Hen looked at her with sad eyes
