Dipper sat drinking his coffee. While he was not as big a fan of coffee as Mabel it was amazing the things you missed when you were away from home. And that's exactly what he considered the shack. His home away from home.

Mabel grinned over her shoulders at him as she cooked pancakes for her brother and herself. Dipper smiled at her over the top of his cup of coffee. Turning off the stove Mabel used a spatula to remove the pancakes from the pan onto the pile she had on a ceramic plate. Then she moved the plate to the table and placed four steaming pancakes on Dipper's plate from the pile before taking three for herself and sitting down. "Thanks, Mabes," he said spreading butter and peanut butter over his pancakes before lightly drizzling his with syrup.

Mabel on the other hand transformed her plate of pancakes into a lake with three stepping stones as she drowned the pancakes in syrup before winterizing the landscape with powdered sugar. Dipper just shook his head at his sister's antics and took a few bites of the layered pancakes he had sliced into with a fork.

Mabel finished her Pancakes in no time at all leaving Dipper to savor his. Mabel meanwhile eyed Dipper. He knew that look she was about to ask him- "When are you going to tell her?" Mabel asked cutting straight to the point. Dipper sighed. She had beat him to the punch. "When the time is right. Also when she's not under our roof. That would make her feel uncomfortable."

Mabel snorted, "Yeah make you feel uncomfortable as well." Dipper kept his mouth shut. She had him pegged this time. He took a sip of coffee biding his time. Mabel perked up again. "Well, I just hope it won't get in the way of your summer spirit." Dipper turned to her confused. "Wait what?"

Mabel slapped her forehead, "Doi! Did you forget already bro bro?!? Today is Pacifica's Summerween party...at her ritzy mansion...Wendy, Tambry, and Robbie are invited, along with half of Gravity Falls." Mabel looked astonished as she stood up and moved closer to his chair to drive home her point. "Don't tell me you forgot!?!" Dipper shrugged sheepishly, "Yeah I...I guess I've been a little distracted lately." Mabel placed her head on Dipper's shoulder as a playful and mischievous grin crossed her face. "Yeah, having two beautiful rich blondes drooling over you can have that effect on most guys." Dipper frowned, "I mean the hospital visit and the fact that I've been in a Coma. But...yeah...that...that too," he stuttered nervously. Mabel grinned at him and gave him a playful bonk on the head with her forehead. Dipper knew Mabel had been planning the party and their costumes for over a month now. This was important. "Well don't take too long Mr. Ladies man. Us ladies get jealous...and trust me...you don't want to see Pacifica when she's jealous."

Dipper took another sip of coffee. "Or when she's mad...I just hope she doesn't do anything too rash when she finds out." Mabel placed a hand on her brother's shoulder, "I think you might be in denial territory about how much she knows already. Pacifica is no dum-dum." Dipper turned two shades whiter, "Why do you think she knows already?!?" Mabel waited to answer him as a smirk spread across her face. "Just don't wait too long to tell her bro," she said in a singsongy voice letting him know he would regret it if he did.

Dipper sighed as he put his cup of coffee down on the table. "I'm dead..." he sighed lowering his head to the table with a thud. Grunkle Stan walked in, "You kids and your melodrama. When I was your age I didn't worry about no dames or drama." Ford walked into the kitchen sporting his Backupsmore University mug. "Yeah, you were too busy worrying about angry buyers you conned out of their money and evading the law as you crossed county lines." Mabel laughed and said, "Zing!" Grunkle Stan grumbled as he poured himself a cup of coffee. "Nobody asked the Egghead gallery, Poindexter." Great Uncle Ford grinned unphased.
