Lucia Romono is Team Principal of the Lamborghini Racing Team and will forever be known as the first Team Principal for the team. She is the only current female Team principal on the grid.
Born in Rome, Lucia Romono was brought up in a small family where she soon moved out at the age of 19. She decided to invest in a future career in management when she was young in order to get onto the career ladder.
Lucia's career began in the smaller management of businesses before moving up the ladder through F3 and F2 (and former GP2) as Team principal. Lucia is one of the leading reasons of ART GP's, formally Lotus ART leading success in the feeder series, bringing the lights of current F1 drivers like George Russell.
The 2023 Formula 1 season will mark the first stage of Lamborghini's journey in Formula 1 racing and we are proud to have Lucia as our team leader.
