hanging

I was walking down the hall and it felt like everyone was staring at me. As if I was some sort of celebrity. We got into class and I sat down "Hey Y/N" some random girl said to me "Do I know you?" i said looking at her "No, but you should be thankful my Dad's giving you some money so you won't be homeless. We made a charity for you by the way" She said smiling and sitting down

"Is she serious?" I looked at Lila "I don't know" Lila said "Just leave it okay?" I got up "I don't need your money you know." "Really? Living with a friend won't last forever" I went up to her and started punching the fuck out of  her "Get off me!!" "I said I don't need your stupid money!"  I said as the teacher pulled me away. "Both of you to the office!" Great just what I needed.

 I grabbed my bag and looked at Lila "Sorry" We left the room and got to the office and we sat there waiting for the old man to speak with us. "Alright, girls what happened?" "I didn't do anything I just told her that my dad was gonna help her out by giving her money, and she started punching me afterward" I rolled my eyes "That's a lie!" I said. "You can go" The Principal said and she left "Look Y/N I know something just happened but we're all trying to help. Why don't you take the week off from school?" 

He said sitting down "I don't want to but thanks" I got up "Am I good to go as well?" "Yes just be careful," He said and I left  "What did he tell you?" "Nothing much. Just him picking favorites" "Well maybe it's not since you did punch her" Five said "Not helping Five" I said grabbing my bag "I know it's a bad time but there's a party after school if you wanna come with me" "But it's a school night" I said "and it's Halloween! Come on" He said practically begging me. It's pathetic when people beg. "Fine but if I find a costume I will" "Yes!! I'll pick you up at 8" He said kissing me and walking away. "If I find a costume!!"

Later that day I went as Harley Quinn and Five was the Joker. Basic costume but it'll do. "You look fabulous sweetheart" "Shut up and drive" I said smiling "You got it" Once we got there I noticed it was a big ass house "Isn't this nice?" I got out looking for Lila.

"Lila!!" I hugged her "Where's Klaus?" I asked looking for him as well "Behind you" I looked at me and he didn't have a costume on "Where's your costume?" "Who needs a costume when you're as cool as me?" He said and we went inside. "Where's Cassie?" I said going inside "Believe it or not, flirting with the teacher." "He's here? With her?" "I don't know so don't ask me," she said and that's when I saw her sitting there with him. "And everyone's okay with this?" "Well he bought us drinks" "Disgusting" We walked to the kitchen since it was empty pretty much. 

"So if we were ever in a horror film who would die first?" Klaus asked. We all looked at each other and said, Cassie. Probably least favorite I'm guessing if everyone said her. "Well, I think anyone including us would take her, So yeah." We all laugh "Maybe me next?" Lila said. "Well, hopefully they take Diego second" "Maybe" "I'm right here!" He said hugging Lila from behind "Well if I get taken then it'll be when I'm with Lila" 

"You guys are back together?" I asked "Yeah, I can't live without him" "Well that's good you're back together," I said looking at Klaus about to ask how he thinks he'll die. That was till I saw Jason and I kissed Five. "What was that for?" He asked all smiling. "I can't kiss you?" "Well of course you can, just got me off guard" He said grabbing me by my hips. "You think there's a heaven?" I asked and everyone looked at me

"Well, I think 50/50 because-" " Here we go with Lila being all nerdy," Klaus said "Shut up! As I was saying, because there are spirits here with us you know? Like our family members, maybe there is since like you can come and go" She said smiling. "Did I ever tell you how fucking dumb you sound?" Five asked,  "You really wanna fight with me don't you?" 

"I mean I would win. Just saying" He laughed "How about we take this at my house then?" We were all watching as if it was a telenovela. "Nah it's fine" "Sounds like someone is scared," Klaus said as he started making chicken noises. "Fine deal" We all ran to our cars "See you there Asshole" Lila says as Five started driving.

 "You think you can win in a fight with Lila?" I said laughing "You think I can't?" He said and I froze. "If you don't think I can just say so. " "Stop the car," I said and he stopped making Lila stop driving. "What you wanna fight me now too" I ignored him and got out of the car and screamed. Lila came running to me "What happened?" I just pointed up and there was someone. Someone hanging. "Diego call 911," Lila said and we went back in the car "Yes! A person is hanging from the damn tree like I said!" 

After waiting which felt like hours, the cops got here. "Hi Y/N how are you doing?' One of the cops asked me "How the fuck do you think I'm doing? I just saw a dead person in front of my eyes!" "Do you know her?" He asked "Who was it?" "Casey Becker" He said "She goes to my high school. She never went through anything from what I know" I said "Y/N this wasn't a suicide. Someone stabbed her and hanged her" He said and I was shocked. 

"Are you saying there's a killer?" "Yes I am and I need you and your friends to go home right now okay?" "Yes sir" I go up to Five "We need to get out of here" I said "I'll explain everything. "What happened?" "I'll explain everything when we get to Lilas." 

I got into the car and Five started driving to Lilas. "so uhm" "They're saying it's a killer" I said and held his hand "I'm scared" "Well we have each other which is the good part" "And you have me!" Klaus said "Like you're  any help?" "I am okay Five? I've been Y/N's best friend since elementary!" "Right, well hopefully it was just targeted at her" I said sinking into my seat. 

We got back to Lilas. "So how about we just watch a movie?" Lila said sitting down "Disney movie!" Klaus said "I'll make popcorn." I said and Five followed me. "Why don't we go upstairs? "Let's stay down here with everyone." I said kissing him and taking the popcorn bowls to everyone. "Here" I sit next to Five "You okay?" He said bringing me closer. "Yeah just got scared."

If there was anyone I'd spend my last days with it would be with the people in this room.
