[PROTOTYPE]: REMNANTS ERA OF EVOLUTION (RWBY X Male Reader)

Trailer for Y/N AKA The [PROTOTYPE]

It was a stormy night in the city of Vale, rain was pouring down onto the civilians, and the dark clouds covered almost all the moonlight had to offer. During this time in Vale, there weren't many people on the streets and the rain just made the streets even emptier, though there were some people here and there who seemed to be in a rush to get home, to see someone or do something, who knows. Although one person, in particular, didn't seem to be in a rush at all they seemed to be moving so slowly as if they wanted to stay in the rain, as if they had nowhere to go or nothing waiting for them back home. The figure could be seen wearing a white button-up shirt with a noticeable protruding collar that was partially buttoned, they had a gray hoodie which was worn over the button-up shirt, and to top it all off was their most distinct feature, a black leather jacket with white horizontal lines on each sleeve, and a red tribal design on the back which seemed to be two inward dragons facing each other. This figure was known as Y/N "Alexander" Mercer or...at least formerly known by that name.

He was casually walking through the streets seeming to be the only person on this block at this time of night, which wasn't surprising to him, so he took advantage of it but tonight seemed off in a way...the streets were more quiet than usual which was unnatural but he didn't seem to care and kept walking. As he walked he noticed a little TV store with TVs on for showcasing and broadcasting the news. All of which were broadcasting the same report about some "monster composed of mangled flesh." They then proceeded to show images caught on camera but were far too blurry and dark to make out what or who the being was, all that was noticeable was that they wore some sort of hood, had deep red eyes identical to that of a Grimm, and that they dawned a pair of claws which seemed to be made out of flesh and blood which gave off an orange colored hue from their shoulders to their palms. They wore a similar outfit to Y/N's but it was too difficult to see if they were identical. Afterward, the reporters all said to contact anyone if they were to see this creature again since it's unknown if they or IT is a threat or not, and would rather not take chances.

Y/N, who watched the broadcast just scoffed and walked away, he knew a thing or two about the incident but he knew even more about being called a "monster." As he continued to trek down the street he stopped abruptly to see that not too far down, some streetlights had gone out since he was nearing the edge of town which had been set up for renovations but were discontinued. Shortly afterward a recognizable pair of gleaming red eyes stared into his blue ones from the shadows of which the streetlights once lit. More of the red eyes then appeared as the Y/N stood in place still, unmoving. In a situation for any other civilian, they would've run but Mercer is far different than a normal civilian.

From the shadows, multiple Grimm had soon emerged primarily consisting of Beowolves and Ursa. (Authors Note: Is it Ursa, Ursi, or Ursai? I forgot but whatever) Y/N still stood in his place like a statue as the Grimm slowly moved towards him before one charged towards him as he got sent flying back into a nearby building causing rubble to fall on top of where he landed. Normally Y/N would've dodged this but he decided to have some fun, after all, what's more satisfying than playing with your food? And with all of the problems erupting recently, who knew when he'd get a chance like this again?

The Grimm started their advance onto their supposed "prey" they soon started to multiply in numbers rapidly since they started to hear screams coming from the same building which Y/N had been sent flying into. Afterward from the hole that was left in the wall, an arm was seen grabbing what was left of it with a force strong enough to crack the concrete it was made from with a loud CRUNCH. Noises of squelching and squishing similar to flesh could also be heard behind the figure in the wall and what seemed to be a body was trailing behind and was absorbed into their own body with tentacles of sorts being the cause. As the figure consumed the rest of the corpse their eyes now gave off a noticeable red glow.
