Chapter 21

*Taylor's pov*
That night Kay kept having nightmares and crawled in bed with Shawn, I heard him singing life of the part and that's Kay's favorite song.

I drifted off to sleep listening to the humming of Shawn's voice (a/n cause he has voice of an angel) today we had a day off so we just decided to go swimming.

We all made it downstairs to the lobby which was connected to a inside pool, all the guys jumped in but Kaylen was a little hesitant to take off her towel she had wrapped around her small body,
Taylor: Kaylen? Are you going to get in?
Kaylen: I-um ya I'll be in a m-min
Kaylen: can you get Hayes and tell him to come here for a second?
Taylor: sure babe

I swam over to Hayes and tapped him on the shoulder,
Taylor: Hey dude, Kaylen wants you to go over with her she won't take off her towel to get in.
Hayes: alright man I'll go talk to her.

*Hayes pov*
I swam over to the edge and walked over to Kay, she took my hand and we went back up to the room and into the bathroom,
Kaylen: I-i never to-told you guys b-but here just look and call me other things.

I stood there speechless and she shakily took off the towel, and there all over her stomach were scars.

Some read out the words "worthless" "stupid" "ugly" and a bunch of other things

Hayes: Kay who did this to you?!
Kaylen: my old daddy and old mommy
Hayes: and is that why you wouldn't take off your towel?
Kaylen: yes I was scared you all would judge me and take me back.
Hayes: Kaylen Rose Caniff don't you ever and I mean ever think that none of us don't love you! Cause we love you so much!
Hayes: why did you chose me to talk to instead of Shawn?
Kaylen: I haven't spent that much time with you!

I took her back to the pool and by the time we got back down everyone was worried, she was still worried but I gave her a warm smile and she took it off.

Everyone's jaws dropped Johnson and Shawn and tears in their eyes and Taylor looked devastated as he started at his baby girls stomach,
Taylor: Kaylen babe why did you never tell me?
Kaylen: I was afraid you wouldn't love me anymore!
Taylor: Kaylen Rose don't you ever say that I love you so much!

After our full day at the pool it was finally time to sleep, Kaylen crawled into my bed and snuggled into me and fell asleep.
