Hannah's P.O.V

I went home that night. Home to an empty house, empty bed, and empty feeling in my stomach. It's not that I'm hungry, it just feels like something is missing. I thought that maybe it's less in my stomach and more in my heart.

My phone buzzed in my pocket as I walked into my room to change. It was Mamrie.

"I still love you no matter what. Nothing will change. I promise. Xoxo"

I smiled. 'I'm pretty damn lucky.'

I changed into some sweats and climbed into bed. There's school tomorrow. It'll be weird to go knowing that someone knows about me. But it's Mamrie, so I know she won't tell anyone. I trust her. If I didn't I wouldn't have told her right?

I set my alarm for 5. I know school starts at 8:30 but I'd like to get up earlier, prepare myself for anything the day might give me.

The Next Morning

5am. My alarm goes off like it was supposed to. I breathe deeply in and slowly out. It's still dark outside I realize when I sit up. I stand on my weak-from-sleep feet and shuffle across the floor to the bathroom. I step into the shower and turn the water cold. It feels nice on my tired skin.

Once I'm clean I step out of the shower, 5:15. I go over to my closet and choose my clothes for the day. It's supposed to be hot, so I went with shorts, t-shirt, and converse shoes.

I comb my short hair and leave the house without breakfast.

'My secret, the only thing that was mine and for me, is out. Mamrie knows... is this good? I don't feel good about anybody knowing, even if it's only Mamrie.' I continuously think about my decision in telling her in Starbucks yesterday. 'Was I wrong to tell her?'

I check my phone. 6:30. That means Mamrie is up. Maybe I'll go see her, we could get breakfast. I start to walk to her house. It's not a far walk, just two or three blocks away. I'm almost at her house when I feel my phone buzz in my pocket.

Mamrie - "Hey Dork, sleep well?"

Me - "I guess. Hey I was wondering if you were up to getting breakfast?"

I get to her door.

Mamrie - "Sure, come on over! When do you think you'll get here?"

I knock on the door.

Me - "That's me :)"

"How's my favourite lezbo?" Mamrie opens her door and yells while wrapping me in a hug.

I try to stifle my laugh and try to act serious. "Mamrie keep it quiet alright? I don't want anyone else to know,"

She looked at me kind of surprised. "What? You mean I can't tell anyone?"

"That's right," I could tell she was just itching to tell someone. "Who would you tell anyway?"

"What?" She looked at me, "Cause you're my ONLY friend?"

I laughed. "No no I just mean if you could tell someone, who would you?"

"I don't know, but I'll find someone, and when I do, I'll ask you if I can." She smiled.

"You can't," I said. "I don't care who it is,"

"Watch me." She winked.

Then we were off for breakfast.

A/N
Thanks everyone for being so so patient, I've just been so busy, but now that Summer is here I'll be updating much more frequently. Thank you so much for the 2.45K reads! That's AMAZING! I never thought I'd ever get passed 20 so thank you so much. Please keep sending in your ideas for where this story is going, because without the help I'd be getting nowhere.

On a side note, I was thinking about starting a new story. Yes another #Hartbig story, but I know exactly what I want to do with this one so updates to that one may be more frequent then this one has been thus far (Yes thus is a word). So if you're interested in a new #Hartbig story let me know if it's a good idea by leaving it in the comments! I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Let me know what you think also in the comments! Thanks for reading.

As Always,
