The next day arrives as I wake to the warm sensation of the morning sun shining through my bedroom window sitting up I gently rub the sleep away from my eyes before getting out of bed heading straight for the bathroom to shower and get ready for the day. Shortly after I finish showering I dry myself off with a towel before heading back into my room to get dressed and fix my hair.

Once I'm done getting dressed I gather my things stuffing them into my backpack before heading downstairs to eat some breakfast "morning aunt Jenna." I yawned as she turned to look at me with a smile on her face while she pulls me into a tight hug "morning sweetheart." She smiled as she kissed the top of my head gently "morning sissy." Jeremy said as he kissed the side of my cheek gently "morning big brother." I giggled with a smile on my face as he chuckled at me.
"Morning everyone. You guys ready to go?" Elena asked as she made her way downstairs towards the kitchen "yep." Me and Jeremy said in unison as we both grabbed our backpacks putting them on our shoulders before making our way outside the front door heading toward the car opening the door and hopping in before taking off towards the high school.
-------------------- Once we arrive at the school we all get out of the car before heading towards the front entrance parting ways as I head to my locker putting in the combination popping it open grabbing the things that I need before shutting it as I begin making my way towards Mr. Tanner's class taking a seat in the back placing one earbud in my ear glancing to the side staring at the beautiful green trees swaying with the wind.
Once lunchtime rolls around I make my way to the cafeteria taking a seat at the table with my sister "hey, Charlie." Stefan said with a smile on his face as he looked at me "hey, Stef." I smiled as he chuckled at me "hey, Char I-uh-I hope you don't mind but I invited Stefan over for dinner again tonight." Elena said as she glanced at me "nope, I don't mind. I'm glad he's coming over. That just means I get to grow my friendship with him." I giggled as she laughed at me "okay. You should make that salad you made for Jenna on her birthday." Elena replied "oh, yeah. You're gonna love it." I exclaimed in excitement "I'm looking forward to it." He replied with a smile on his face as he looked at me.
-------------------- Now the end of the school day I storm out of my last period class pushing my way through the crowd of people heading towards my locker opening it and placing my books inside before walking towards the front entrance heading to the parking lot opening the passenger side door of Elena's car hopping in and shutting the door behind myself before taking off back to the house.
Once we're back home I get out of the car walking up the steps before opening the door tossing my backpack onto the chair next to the door quickly making my way to the kitchen opening the fridge gathering the things I need for the food I'm going to be making tonight "uh, Elena. Do we have any tomatoes?!" I asked "they're in the bottom drawer of the fridge!" She shouted as I opened the fridge drawer grabbing them before shutting it looking up at the sound of a knock on the door "come in!" I exclaimed as the door opens up I glance up seeing Stefan making his way inside towards the kitchen.
"Hey." He said while waving at me "hey." I replied with a smile on my face as he pulled me into a side hug "your sister here?" He asked me "yep. She's upstairs in the bathroom." I giggled as he nodded at me while I began chopping some tomatoes I look to the side with a smile on my face seeing Stefan making funny faces at me "stop. You're distracting me." I giggled bumping his shoulder lightly as he chuckled at me completely not paying attention to what I was doing I cut my finger hissing in pain at the feeling "ah, shit." I hissed glancing down seeing the blood seeping out from my fingertip.
"Hey, hey. You okay?" He asked with a hint of nervousness in his voice as he walked over to me while picking my hand up gently to examine it "y-yeah I-I'm fine." I whimpered while grimacing in pain slightly "uh-here. Put this on it." He said handing me a towel wrapping it around my finger "t-thanks." I whispered "hey, hey, hey. What happened?" Elena fearfully asked us as she made her way downstairs "nothing I'm fine." I muttered lowly "she cut her finger while chopping some tomatoes." Stefan said while glancing at her "I'll get the first aid kit." Elena replied as she ran back upstairs to the bathroom grabbing it before heading downstairs "I'll take care of it." Stefan said as he guided me upstairs to the bathroom.
Once we're in the bathroom I sit on the toilet while he squats in front of me grabbing some alcohol in a spray bottle holding up while holding my hand in his gently "this might sting a little." He said as he sprayed some alcohol on my finger making me wince a bit at the sensation taking notice he blows on it gently before wrapping a bandage on it "thanks." I whispered "no problem." He replied with a small smile on his face as he looked at me "you—uh—you didn't have to do this. I could've managed it." I muttered while glancing at him "nonsense. I'd do anything for you." He replied as I smiled at him wrapping my arms around him in a tight hug while he does the same.
"What was that for?" He asked me with a confusion laced in his voice while looking down at me once I pulled away from him "for being the most amazing person ever." I smiled as he chuckled at me "thanks." He mumbled with a small smile on his face.
