The following morning arrives as I sit up in bed gently rubbing the sleep away from my eyes while glancing over at my window almost as if sensing someone was in here or had been in here making me shake my head at the thought "oh, Jesus. You're just tired Char." I muttered before getting up out of bed heading towards the bathroom to shower and get ready for the day ahead. Shortly after I finish showering I grab a towel from the cabinet quickly drying myself off before heading back into my bedroom to get dressed.

Once I finish getting dressed I head downstairs grabbing some apple juice from the fridge before taking a seat at the counter glancing up at the sound of footsteps coming towards me "hey, I'm heading to Stefan's. I'll be back in a bit, okay." Elena said as she grabbed her keys off of the counter "can I come with?" I asked her "Charlie. I-I really think you should stay here." She replied "please. I'll stay out of the way. Anything than being stuck here with a moping Jeremy." I whined "fine." She reluctantly agreed as I got up following closely behind her with huge grin on my face.
------------------- Salvatore Boarding House Now at the Boarding House we get out of the car making our way up the walkway ringing the doorbell as we wait for someone to open the door I look up seeing Damon leaning against the doorframe with a smirk on his face as he looked at us "hello Elena, Charlie." Damon said as he smirked at us while Elena pushed past him heading inside the house "afternoon, Damon." I smiled as he chuckled at me while I walked past him heading inside as well.
Taking a seat at the dining room table I see Stefan, Vicky and Elena making their way towards me taking a seat at the table as well "Charlie? I-I didn't know you were coming too." Stefan said with a look of shock on his face as he looked at me "yeah, Elena said I could come over." I babbled as he nodded at me with a small smile on his face as he began talking to Vicky while I zoned out on the conversation completely ignoring everything they were talking about "we'll be right back. Me and Stefan gotta talk about something really quick." Elena said as they both got up making their way out of the dining room heading towards the back patio.
