Lucas POV
Me and Maya have been hanging out for over a month now, and I gotta admit she's grown on me a lot. Wait What? No Lucas snap out of it you like Riley only Riley, right??
The doorbell rings and go open it to see who it is, it's Maya, even her name is beautiful. Wait What?
"So are you gonna let me in Ranger Rick or are you just gonna stare at me?" Maya said.
"Oh sorry, you're a little to overdressed to study don't you think?" I ask her. She was wearing a black and orange floral dress and had on her dress boots, with a beanie and her hair was curled. Wow she looked... Perfect. Wait what?
"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you. After we're done studying my boyfriend's coming to pick me up here, if that's okay with you?" She told me, slowly breaking my heart.
"You have a boyfriend? I mean yeah its okay with me, but you have a boyfriend?' I ask her.
"Umm, yeah his name is Joshua. He's Riley's Uncle. He's 3 years older than me, but age is just a number, right?" She replied.
"Yeah. Let's study." I say quickly
3 hours later I hear the doorbell ring, I open it and see an older guy. He's wearing a purple shirt with a gray jacket.
"Hi Josh!" Maya says from behind me. "Who's he?" He says pointing on me.
'He's Lucas my..." She's cut off "You know what never mind, let's go now!" He says grabing Maya harshly, which is hurting her.
"Let her go." I yelled, he let her go. "Maya sit down." We both said in union.
I punched Josh in the face and Maya screamed, "Why the hell did you do that!" Maya screamed.
"Maya listen," I say calm. "To what Lucas! How much you hate my boyfriend?" She screams at me while Joshua's getting up.
"Hear me out, please," I beg. "When was the last time he called you beautiful? Told you he's In love with you? Made you feel like you're the most special girl In the world? Because you are. He doesn't deserve you.
