Time capsule

One week later

Maya's POV

I'm still confused about my feelings for Ranger Rick, but it doesn't matter anymore.
He has a girlfriend, Missy, Missy Bradford my enemy since first grade.

He's moved on, so should I. I've been talking/flirting with a guy named Bradley Steven Perry. He's cute, but I still can't get over what Ranger Rick told me.

Maya snap out of it!

I got changed and walk to John Quincy Adams Middle School. It took me 20 minutes to get there. And then I hear,

"Mayaaaaaaa!" Riley screamed out.

I turn around, only to be attacked with a hug. Not the soft ones, but the ones that take your breath away.

"Whoh," I said getting a little unbalanced. "What was that for?" I asked.

"Nothing, I was just bored." She replied.

"Wow, My best friend is a weirdo." I said playfully.

"Yeah, but I'm your weirdo!" She said while entering Mr.Matthews classroom.

I looked up at the board. It said "'Time Capsules'"

"Okay Class, today we're going to make Time Capsules. It doesn't matter with who you make it with,but you need one by the end of today." Matthews remarks.

I see Riley looking at me and she says, "Maya, Lucas, and Farkle meet me at the café after school, okay?"

"Okay," Me, Farkle, and Lucas said in Union.

After School

I walk to the café and see Riley holding a wooden box. She smiles when she sees me.
After a few minutes Farkle and Ranger Rick walk in.

"So," Riley starts. "This is our time capsule, I'm going to put something in first." She states. She puts in a small orange like plastic ball. "I'm putting in Pluto because I will never stop believing in something so real." She remarked.

"My turn!" Farkle said. "I'm putting in these necklaces because when we finally do open this up I want to be next to you guys to be able to give them to you. Because hopefully in 15 years we'll still be friends or maybe something more." He says while putting in the four necklaces.

"Okay, I guess it's my turn." Lucas said. "I guess I'm putting in my transfer scrip because it was the beginning of this amazing friendship and an amazing love I had for somebody and maybe also cause I want to remember that day for the rest of my life. I hope in 15 years our friendship won't change." Lucas said.

"Lucas! Are you done?" Missy screamed from behind him.

"Almost. Maya it's your turn." He told me.

"Actually I don't want you guys to see what I put in, because I want you guys to find out in 15 years when we're all back at this place again. And don't worry about burying it because I'm burying it in Central Park." I replied.

"Okay, well bye." They all said.

Once I was sure they were gone I put in the picture of me and Lucas, hoping that in 15 years we would still be friends.

"Hope's still for suckers." I whispered to myself. I got up to go bury the time capsule
