Kayden had been expelled for sexual harassment at lunch today. Still, I couldn't stop thinking about Levi from earlier today. Ugh, I mean I'm not into the whole popular-guy-thing but he's... an exception.
We both sat in the office because they had to notify our parents of the incident that happened today. I nervously tugged at the hem of my shirt. I sat next to Levi on the wooden bench which was near the principals office. There was a heavy silence in the air, my face started growing hot at the absence of things to spark up a conversation with.
"T-thank you." I blurted out, breaking the silence. I didn't look up and my fingers flitted faster on my hem.
"You're welcome." He said, Levi didn't move. He sat there with me waiting for the principle to come and talk to us. But what else is there to do anyway? There were still a few questions floating around in my mind.
"Why did you even help me?" I said, sneaked a peek from the corner of my eye. Levi shook his head.
"Kayden had it coming for him. I've seen him harass you for more than 3 months now and something inside of me just snapped." He explained. Before I could say anything back the principle walked up to us.
"You are now free to go back to your classes. We have notified both of your parents. I don't think you will be getting suspended, for this is not your guys fault and Kayden will be charged with sexual harassment in the courtroom on Monday." She said and then dismissed us.
I grabbed my bag and got up, "What class do you have to go to?" I asked and looked at Levi. His face looked at me with confusion and lit up with humor.
"Totally not the same class as you." He replied jokingly, my face turned red.
"Haha, yeah. I knew that. Pfhhhh! I was just testing you." I said trying to play it off. 'Omg! Why did I say that?!'
Levi laughed as we walks out of the office, "Oh yeah? I mean I tend to forget what class I have next from time to time." He kept laughing and my face heated up even more.
We stepped into the classroom and everyone looked up from their papers. The teacher yelled at them to focus on their paper, me and Levi made our way to our seats. We sat one person away from each other, which I mean, wouldn't be a big deal if today was like any other normal day. However, today was not the case.
I couldn't stop thinking about the incident. The place he had caught me tingled a little bit each time I thought of it. The teacher slipped us your papers, telling us to work on them. I glanced at Levi, his amber colored hair fell in front of his forehead and he put the eraser top of the pencil up to his lips as he pondered the answer of the first question. Levi looks up and I quickly turn my head down.
'What is this weird feeling in my stomach?'
