giggles and grabs onto my face. I put her down and high five William. I walk toward the small kitchen and put down the loaf of bread onto the wooden table. I see my mother, passed out. She went to the tavern last night, so it makes sense why she's completely passed the fuck out. I head up the stone stairs and I slowly open the door.

"JANA, GET OFF MY BED!" I scream, Jana quickly turns her head toward me, stunned. She falls off the bed with a thump. She screeched and stood up, she starts charging toward me at full speed. I yell and dive onto my bed. She slams into the wall before turning toward me. She dives onto me and tackles me, and I tackle her back aggressively. She growls and I shoot a look of judgment at her.

Her eyes widen and she gets off of me. She quickly trods off to her room. I roll my eyes and relax.

Jason's perspective

As I sit in the dark cave all I can think about is that human girl. She looked at me with such hatred, like she NEEDED to kill me. Ill make sure she dies before I do. Suddenly my mother bursts into my room and slams the door behind her. I raise my eyebrow at her. She looks furious.

"Are you KIDDING ME? You ran away?!" She yells, she steps toward me and grabs my wrist tightly. Her nails are digging into my wrist. It stings.

"..Mother, the sun was about to come up. I couldve burned." I say, quietly, not trying to upset her.

I wince and blood drips from my wrist. I nod slowly. "I'm so very sorry, mother. I assure you that I was not followed by human." I say, even quieter. If I protest, she will surely make me meet my end. She grunts and lets go of me.

"If you do such things again, I will kill you myself. I do not care what it takes to keep this cave safe, I don't care if you burn in the daylight." She's quieter now. She steps out of my room and she closes the door angrily. I flinch. I roll my eyes before stepping into the bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror, I'd lift up my shirt. I stare at the wooden stake in the side of my stomach. I run the sink, and splash water onto the wound. I stop the tap and put my shirt back down. I walk out of the bathroom and walk toward the small kitchen. I see a small rabbit jump from around the corner. I stare at it. Its little beady eyes stare right back at me, as if to beg for mercy. In the blink of an eye, I'm holding the rabbit tightly within my hands. I squeeze it tightly, it squirms and squeaks. I swiftly take a bite of it, draining it of its warm blood. It's not much, but it'll clench my thirst for the time being. I throw the dead rabbit carcass on the floor and kick it into the corner of
