Twelve Years Later

Christian's POV
"Mandy I'm not going on another stupid date, this is the third one!" I yell this at my older sister through the phone "You have to! You know they won't give up until you meet her!" she yells back. My sister, Amanda Levine-Dawson, the oldest child of the Levine family. She looks the same as me but with a few differences, while I had short dark brown hair, very fair soft skin and heterochromia, she had long light brown hair, freckles and green eyes like mom's.

•He has heterochromia: when a•
person has differently colored eyes or eyes that
•have more than one color•
~His left eye light green, right eye light blue~

"I don't care, they tried this twice before! I'm not even eighteen yet! At least they waited for you to hit twenty before trying to marry you off!" I yell once again laying on the couch in my room with my legs on the headrest and my head dangling off the seat, while looking at the tv upside down. "Chris that was four years ago, I'm fine now. I got lucky, Ivan is a great guy, and if you gave any of these girls a chance you might fall in love."

She said this to be a good thing but he could hear a twinge of sadness in her voice. Mom and dad announced her arranged marriage on her twentieth birthday, and she got married a month later. My sister believes in finding true love for yourself, but she never got the chance to find it for herself. So she's now my biggest supporter in finding love, even though mom and dad couldn't care less.

"Fine fine fine, but I'm not letting you convince me again" I sit properly in the couch with a heavy sigh "Yay! Now you have to treat her nice, but knowing you that won't last long. So just give her thirty minutes, you never know, you might fall in love." "I'll give her fifteen minutes" I say rolling my eyes even though I knew she couldn't see me.

"Ok ok fifteen minutes, but promise me you won't try to ruin the date before that." I stay silent thinking about before I sigh "Alright I promise, now bye bye Mandy" I hear her let out a little giggle before replying "I love you too, bye call me later to let me know how it went!" She yells as then hangs up before I could protest.

I throw my phone on the couch cushion next to me rubbing my temples, these annoying bastards I call my parents. Mom's always on some retreat in another country and dad's always on some business trip, since I was young the maids always took care of me. The one who took care of me most days was Amaya, but she left when I was ten, she got a better job. There was another lady that looked out for me but it was on rare occasions, I can't seem to recall her name.

I made my way to the bathroom to take a quick shower, as much as I hated these dates my image came first. After a short shower I walk out my connected bathroom into my massive walk in closet. I have a vast amount of clothes, I like to look good so that means clean and expensive clothes. I love dressing up, it's actually the only good thing about these dates; other than the fact that I get to eat at expensive restaurants without dad questioning me.

I put on my Calvin Klein boxers with a pair of off-white pants, I put on a plain white dress shirt with the collars out under a sweater which is a very light shade of brown. It has cream colored diamonds with over laying dotted light blue diamond shapes going around the mid area and arms in a single big argyle patten. I slip on white high rise ankle socks with a pair of white Fila sneakers. I look in the mirror deciding not the do my hair but instead leaving it fluffy.

As I spray on some Dior cologne and begin taking pictures to post on Instagram. I then heard a light knock at my door "What do you want!" I yell still trying to get a perfect picture, "Sir the car is waiting for you outside." I sigh walking to the door opening it to one of the fifteen maids who work in the house, she was young with black hair and dark brown eyes. I had no idea what her name was since I never bothered to learn any other maids names after Amaya left.
