Eric's POV
I couldn't hold back my laughter or the drink in my mouth when I heard his words, I didn't mean to laugh. I know it gave away the fact that I was standing there but how the hell was I supposed to hold back my laughter after that? He just kissed her and then blurted out that he was gay and how he hoped they would never kiss again. "Wh-Who's there!?" I hear Christian call out frantically. I sigh knowing there is no way to stay hidden now, I walk out into the light and his eyes go wide.
He was already beet red, probably from the realization of what he had just said and also the solemn and disrespected look on Eliza's face. "Ugh, you! Why the hell were you hiding behind there? Do you like watching people make out" Eliza blows up at me, her face also red of embarrassment. "Well, if we're doing that then I was here first. So I guess the real question do you like making out in front of people? You're just like your older sister huh," I cackle low knowing how she feels about her sister.
"This is why I hate you!" she yells at me before turning back to Christian "That was very rude of you to say after I gave you my first kiss..." "Lies!" I blurt out cutting her off. She turns to give me an icy glare which I shrug off before turning back to Christian "I'm leaving, I won't tell our parents what happened but don't contact me after tonight" she snarls "Don't count on it, he won't" I reply. Christian looked at me with a low glare as Eliza walked out of view, "Why were you being so rude to her?!" He yells "Look, you don't know her or her sister, you're better off not associating with either of them."
He looks at me wide-eyed before stepping closer keeping his mean glare, "Who are you to tell me who I can and can't associate with?" I step back raising my hands "You literally just kissed her then blurted out that you are now gay, I already knew she wasn't gonna stick around. Her sister has a similar problem which Eliza learned from and doesn't want to get into the same situation." He huffs stepping back and folding his arms but he looks like he is thinking about something though he is still glaring. "I mean if you wanna go ahead and try to talk to her you can, I don't control you so it's up to you."
He looks over his shoulder into the crowd then back to me, dropping his arms to his side, "Just leave me alone." With those last few words he turns walking bad into the abyss of chatter and horrid music, I sigh taking a sip from my glass and turning back to my corner to look at the view not bothering to watch him leave.
_______
Ignored. For the past week Christian has been ignoring me was what I did that bad? He doesn't come down to the maid quarters anymore so I only see him when I go upstairs to help mom with laundry or cook in the kitchen. Tomorrow was his birthday and I wasn't planning on doing any as I had told his tall blond friend, Austin; but now I was rethinking that thought. I didn't really remember much of what Austin said and I definitely don't have his number, I sat back on my living room couch and thought back to see what I could remember.
The only thing that came to mind was the fact that he loved to star gaze but has never really got to do so. "Well to go star gazing we're gonna need a telescope," I pulled out my phone and began texting Leon. After an hour and a half, he helped me pick and buy a high-performance telescope with a stand, he knew a guy who sells them. All I would have to do is pick it up tomorrow morning, the next thing I needed was to pick a good spot. I already looked at the weather report for tomorrow night and the sky would be clear.
The problem was with the city lights, "Ugh where am I gonna take him." I lay my head back on the couch and that's when I remembered something, "The big tree at Grey Point Clif!" I sit up thinking back, Gery Point Clif was part of a hiking trail I used to do with my mom. There is the big tree we would always stop at to eat before heading back down the trail, it had a clear view of the sky and I knew it would be the perfect spot. "Get out here Eric it's late you need to eat dinner and no you can't skip it tonight" my mom yells from the kitchen.
