All week I thought You have to be sane. Don't be dragged around, stand on your own two feet. Only then will we be able to maintain an equal relationship as he said.

The problem was that I couldn't do it my way. I thought I'd have to get away from him for a day to think properly, but he wouldn't let that happen.

He said to me as I was about to go home after work on Monday.

"If you don't have an appointment, why don't we wait a bit and have dinner together?"

I hesitated, so he added.

"Isn't it strange to eat alone at home when you're dating someone?"

When I heard it, it did the trick. So we had dinner together while waiting for him to come home from work. And somehow I went to his house. We didn't have sex, but he stripped me off and bit and licked his waist, thighs, and the inside of his knees relentlessly. In the morning he sat the sleepy me at the table and made toast and fried eggs. I took whatever he was given and drove to work in his car.

On Tuesday, he worked overtime until there were only two of them left in an empty department. That day, he said to himself as he packed his coat.

"I suddenly want to eat oden. Lee Seo Dan, don't you want to eat oden?"

I didn't particularly want to eat oden, but I followed him as if possessed. At a snack bar near the office, I sat across from him in a neat suit, ordered cheap food that didn't suit him, and ate it. The tteokbokki was spicy enough to make my nose tingle. After eating, he said.

"Eating spicy food makes me want ice cream. Lee Seo Dan, don't you want to eat ice cream?"

So we ate ice cream in a shop with white lights and a colorful interior. After eating, he glanced at his watch and said.

"It's late. Why don't you go to my house and sleep?"

As soon as he entered the front door, his clothes were removed and his body was layered from the front door. If he hadn't picked me up later, I would have slept on the first floor sofa until morning.

On Wednesday morning, I took my clothes out of his dressing room and put them on. I was thinking of leaving work early today and going home alone. Just looking at his face made me feel dizzy and the heat on his face was getting worse. I couldn't come to my senses when I was next to him.

He was out of work all day, so it went smoothly until he got home from work and took the subway. I took out the side dishes and ate roughly, but the phone rang.

- I have something to tell you. Can I drop by tonight?

The noise in the background was loud. The voice coming through the receiver was cooler and lower than it actually was. I suddenly wanted to see a face I hadn't seen all day, to the point where my heart was pounding.

At night he parked his car in the parking lot and called. I rushed out of the building and received a bag with the bakery's name engraved on it from the driver's window. His eyes fixed on his tired-looking face. As the story grew longer, he turned off the engine.

Eating tea and cake and getting tangled up in bed was the natural order. I only slept three hours, and neither did he.

It was Thursday evening. For some reason, the supervisor next to me, who had been sitting all day, tapped on the partition.

"Lee Seo Dan, if you're not busy, make copies."

"Yes, please."

I had nothing to do, so I was chewing on the same document several times without anything to do. I immediately got up, pushed my chair back, and waited for the supervisor to pack the papers. As he muttered, counting the pages, his face was weary.
