Skye

"Yeah, this is pure nightmare fuel, hello nightmares to come."

Skye comments as she parks the sport car at the line of the old neighbourhood. During her ride, she had managed to get information about the place, abounded nuclear test site, with houses and dolls. Seeing the happy family in the dolls, a shiver runs through body. She knew the times have been cruel, but this, this was just horrible. Turning her attention away from the dolls, she looks at the buildings, to many for one person to look over.

She knows she should wait for Melinda and the others, but she is restless and would like to start looking around herself. As she starts to move towards one of the houses, she hears movements from her side and as she turns her head, she sees one of the super soldiers.

"Well, this is fun."

She mumbles to herself as she starts to run, hopping she would get to the sports car and get away before the large man reaches her. Lucky for her, luck was on her side and a black SUV slam into the large man. Coming to a stop, Skye turns around and sees her mother, Jemma, Fitz and Ward coming out of the car. She can see the worry in Melinda and Jemma's eyes, but they stay silent, accepting the head nod for now.

"This is a fun place."

Fitz comments and Skye rolls her eyes.

"I called it nightmare fuel when I got here."

She points out, turning her attention towards the neighbourhood. Melinda and Jemma make sure to take each side of her, with Fitz and Ward standing of too Jemma's side.

"So, how will we do this?"

Fitz is the first one to ask.

"Coulson got to be in there somewhere. We need to split up."

Melinda gives the order.

"Or run."

Hearing Jemma saying this, Skye turns her head to look at her friend, only to see her looking behind her. Turning her own head, to figure out what Jemma is seeing, she freezes at the sight of the super solider behind them.

"I'll take care of him."

Ward comments and their attention turns towards him.

"Are you sure?"

"I got this."

Skye glances towards her mother who she sees nodding her head.

"Come on, let's move!"

She orders, taking the lead and Skye is quick to follow, no second questioning the orders. With a quick look at Jemma, she nods her head before grabbing hold of Fitz, heading the other way from her and Melinda. Making sure to keep close to Melinda, the two of them looks through the windows of the buildings, and from the things she sees inside, just adds to the creep factor. Hearing a scream, Skye comes to a stop, turning around, eyes landing on a building they have yet to check. Without thinking, she starts heading for it, knowing fully well that Melinda is following her.

Pulling open the door she sees Coulson, strapped down to a weird looking machine and Raina moves in front of her.

"It's for his own good."

She has the nerve to say and before Skye knows what she is doing, she punches the woman in flower dress hard in her face before rushing towards the machine and Coulson.

"Please let me die! Please let me die!"

Hearing Coulson repeat those lines over and over, makes her heart break. She knew what he had been through was hard, but to hear him asking to be dead. Shaking the worry out of her mind for now, she tries to work on a way to close down the machine, blocking out his please. From the corner of her eye, she can see how Melinda is looking around in the room too and she soon pulls out the power cord from the wall, shouting down the machine.
