When they had first arrived to the tower, Skye had been worried about how it was going to go, watching the scene in front of her, she should have know there were no need for the worry. Leaning on the door frame to the lab, she watches how Tony is showing Leo some of his work, having Leo point a few things out from time to time.

Bruce and Jemma is of to another part of the lab, working on something and Skye is sure she doesn’t have the brain power to even figure out what it is. But it warms her heart to see her two friends having the time of their life.

“What are you smiling about?”

Hearing her brother’s voice, Skye turns her head slightly to look at him.

“Just had to make sure Jemma and Leo are doing well. Have you heard anything from Nat yet?”

Seeing Clint shake his head, Skye turns her attention to look at Jemma and Leo again.

“She will be fine, she has Rogers to watch her back.”

“I know, but I can’t help but feel something big is about to go down. And it’s not just Nat. I haven’t heard anything from ma, Vic or even Ria. I know you told me not to look into their mission, and I haven’t. But there is some weird activities going on in S.H.I.E.L.D and I don’t know. It just scares me.”

“When was the last time you got a full night’s sleep?”

Skye rolls her eyes at this question. Of course he would ask her this, it wouldn’t be the first time she rambles like this when she’s sleep deprived.

“Believe it or not, I got a full night’s sleep this night.”

She answered, looking back at him, finally seeing some worry in his eyes too.

“The only think we can do now is wait and see who contacts us first.”

Taking in a deep breath, Skye tries to find a centre, using what Melinda has taught her.

“How about we head over to the training area and shoot some things?”

Hearing this idea, Skye starts to smile. Maybe not the best way to get rid of her worry, but it’s a start. Moving from the door frame, she follows Clint, pulling of the long armed shirt.

An hour and half, that’s how long she got to just spend one on one time with her brother. Shooting arrows on different targets before her phone starts ringing. Looking at Clint, she sees him smile.

“Told you one of them would contact you in time.”

“Or its just Gwen.”

“You never know unless you answer.”

Rolling her eyes, Skye hands Clint’s his bow and walks over to where she had dropped off her phone. Doing the mistake of not checking who the caller is.

“What happened?”

“It worries me that you know that something has happened.”

Hearing the voice of Evgenia, Skye can feel how her body grows rigged. Evgenia was the last person she would have expected to call her and having her confirm that something is wrong.

“What happened?”

She asks once more, hearing how her voice breaks slightly and she can hear how Clint is now moving towards her.

“I have a badly wounded Victoria at my place. I have no idea what happened to her, I looks like gun wounds.”

“She’s at your place?”

“Yes.”

“Try and stop the bleeding as best as you can, I will send someone I trust your way to help. Have she said anything?”
