The rhythmic knock at your door had your pulse racing. Your stomach twisted with anticipation, mouth loosing all its moisture. You knew who was on the other side of the door, amused by the internal dilemma you were battling with. You shouldn't open the door. You should tell him to go away, that you were done, this wasn't going to happen again.

But he knew. He knew as well as you did that you would open the door. Invite him into your home, your body. Your heart. Invite him in like every other time he had knocked on your door, like every time you will continue to do so.

You waited with held breath, waiting for someone to come and save you from yourself. He didn't knock twice, he didn't need to, he knew you were completely and irrevocably infatuated with him, dependant on his touch as much as you were to the air you breathed. You caught your reflection in the darkened window, surrounded by the darkness of night, you didn't know who you were anymore. Didn't recognise the person staring back at you with defeated eyes. You were no one when not with him.
You open the door, blocking the entrance with your traitorous body, coming to life at the mere sight of him.

"Gin".

The soft way your breath moulded around his name. A prayer, the most endearing song to pass your lips. His wicked grin spread over his angular face, half laden eyes tightly guarding all his secrets. Pale, slender fingers reached to caress your cheek and you leaned into the warmth, the ghostly promise of what you couldn't have, would never have.

Fighting a loosing battle you turn away into your home, turn away from him, from your desires. The soft click of your door the only sound confirming he had followed after you. Your arms wrapped securely around your middle, holding yourself together in the middle of your home.

"Gin, this has to stop". You didn't believe the words you spoke, they held no determination. It did have to stop, the sneaking around, the betrayal. The hurt you endured loving the man who would never love you back. The guilt over being the other woman, laying with another woman's partner. It slowly spread through you like poison, blackening your heart, tightening your throat. Gin held your heart in his hand, cruelly playing with it, refusing to give it back.

Gin wrapped himself around you, arms slithering around your body, pulling you close. Pointed chin rested on your shoulder, nuzzling your cheek. "This again?" He purred into your ear, kissing behind your ear, breaking your will. "Ya can't fight it, YN, I know how much ya crave me"

The truth settled in your stomach with a heavy weight. Your body craved his touch, obsessed over his touch, yearned for his attention. "Ya know I want ya too" You closed your eyes, savouring the thick, honey sweet words dripping from his silver tongue. Just enough attention to keep your hope from dying out completely . You knew he belonged to someone else, but tonight, you belonged to him.

What little fight you had melted away, lowering your hands from your middle, granting unobstructed access to your body. Gin immediately filled the void, sliding his hands over your body, caressing your curves. His tongue swiped slowly up the side of the your neck, shivers ran through you, icy cold in his warm embrace.

He turned you in his arms, body moving to his will, his to manoeuvre and bend to his content, his amusement. Unusual silver hair and mysterious half closed eyes only enhanced his allure, pulling you deeper into your gluttonous addiction. He was your own personal brand of the most addictive drug, meticulously created to have you desperate and needy until your next heaven sent fix.

He opened his eyes, a rare gift he bestowed on you, reward for your compliant behaviour. Ice blue eyes that held the vastness of the never ending sky and the deepness of the oceans hidden depths that you so willingly drowned in. Enigmatic men like Gin were dangerous, slowly, silently creeping their way into your thoughts, your heart. Surrounding your very soul so skilfully, you only notice when it's too late. When youre already trapped in his snare, his unbreakable web of lies and deception.
