Helloooooooo here's another one shot I decided to write YEARS after my last one xD this one shot is based on my best friends fanfic 'Flatmates' which is amaaaaazing! Go check it out! Her book is written in POVS but this one isn't. EmJaneTucker

"Calum, just come out. I promise I won't laugh" said Luke sat on the bed opposite the bathroom, he was all ready in his vampire costume and makeup. He was very proud with how well made his halloween costume was, he bought it in the summer. Halloween was Luke's favourite time of the year. "Are you sure this isn't.. weird?" Calum mumbled on the other side of the door. "Come on Cal, your mum sent you this to wear tonight. She'll be upset if you don't wear it!" Said Luke with a reassuring voice. Calum eventually came out of the bathroom, biting his fingernails nervously. He was dressed as a tiger, wearing an orange and black striped onesie with whiskers painted on his face. "I look ridiculous! I know I do!" Said Calum. Luke chuckled "no you don't, you look adorable!" "I'm not supposed to be adorable! I'm supposed to be scary!" Calum pouted as he sat down on the bed. "Calum, it's about having fun! You think I don't think I look silly right now? This fake blood is gonna make it hard for me to eat all those sweets! And cake. Ashton baked halloween cupcakes!" Luke smiled. "Cupcakes you say?" Calum's pout turned into a grin. "Let's go to the dining room. We can start our sugar rush early!" Luke gently grabbed his boyfriend's hand as they headed to the dining room.

Ashton was dressed as a pirate, with a bandana and an eye patch, he had started blasting a Halloween playlist in the dining room getting into the spooky spirit as he finished decorating his cakes. He then saw Calum and Luke head towards him. "Wow! They look good, Ash!" Said Calum as he held his hand out to grab one. "Not yet!" Ashton tapped his hand gently making Calum giggle. He iced on the mouth of the little pumpkins he had decorated on his cupcakes. "Now they're done!" Ashton grinned. Calum gasped with excitement and began to stuff his face with cupcakes. "Don't make yourself sick" said Luke rubbing Calum's back. "Where's Michael? What's his costume?" Asked Calum, his face still stuffed with cake. Ashton shrugged. "He won't tell me, apparently it's a 'surprise'. I'm waiting for him to finish getting ready."

Moments later, Michael walked out of his room in a super Mario costume. He sat down at the breakfast bar with the rest of the boys not saying a word, just grinning, pleased with himself. "Are you really gonna make any of us ask?" Ashton peered at his boyfriends ridiculous costume. "Oh come on" Michael giggled as he adjusted his fake Mario moustache "Mario is a fantastic costume, besides look at Calum! He's a tiger!" Michael chuckled as he teased his friend. "Nawhh but Calum looks adorable!" Said Luke as he began to nibble on a cupcake. "I'm not supposed to be cute! I'm supposed to be scary! I'm a tiger!" Calum whined. "Go on, say roar" teased Ashton. Calum then began to see that his friends were just winding him up as usual, so he decided to just give in and play along "meoowww!" He lifted his hands up to his face. The boys laughed as they each munched on their cupcakes.

Ghostbusters started blasting on the playlist as the last two tenants in the university flat came into the room. It was Chad and Brad, the twin twats. They shared the third room in the flat and ever since the term started they had constantly made life hell for Ashton, Michael, Luke and Calum. They've made homophobic comments, bullied them, gaslit them and even resorted to violence. And it's safe to say that not much has been done to help this situation. They were dressed as skeletons, wearing tight costumes and black and white face paint. "Hey bum boys" said Chad as they stormed towards them. "Nice outfit" Brad said to Calum as the twins started laughing at him. "What are you supposed to be? I've seen scarier looking baked potatoes" he continued to make fun of Calum. "Leave him alone, Jesus. Why are you here?" Luke asked. "Pfft! We live here?" Chad scoffed. "No, why are you here when we told you we were having a party. You aren't invited, so you better go back to your room" Ashton said as he pointed the icing covered spatula towards the twins. "This is our flat just as much as yours. Besides, some of us wanna get wasted! Get laid! Get fuckeeed up!" Chad started to mimic an air guitar. Calum scoffed "Think again. It's not that kind of party. If you wanna go do all that stuff do it in your own room" he rolled his eyes.
