I sincerely apologize for not posting for quite literally 2 months... this past 2 months have been really draining so I was simply unmotivated to keep this story going and even considered discontinuing it, BUT here I am with another chapter!

Chapter 6

This new guy gave me bad vibes and I immediately didn't like him, but why? "Y'all! Meet sora!" Alex started to say as Sora waved to all ove us and they waved back except for me. Was it because he is wearing mostly cyan? (My least favorite color..)

'no.'

"Hi, I'm Sora! I have my head in the clouds most of the time- I am really nice! My preferred color is cyan!" He introduced himself to me and Jaxx I didn't say anything but Jaxx did "Nice to meet you! I hope we turn out to be good friends in the future!" He smiled 'good friends-' I scoffed.

He then looked at me and he began to say. "You're quite the silent one are you?" He smiled, I of course didn't say anything. "Tell me what's your name?" He asked "Levi." I said as the tone in my voice changed.

He doesn't look trustworthy.

There is something about him that I don't like.

"I wish we could've all met sooner! But, it's late and I am busy tomorrow, so I'll count on Alex to give my number to all of y'all so we can stay in touch!" He said as he looked at all of us and all of them agreed.
He then waved goodbye to us and left.

Alex then turned to all of us and started saying, "a lot of us have a job to go to in the morning so it's best if we leave too it's getting dark-" she said, mostly looking at light and charli who were the only ones to work in the day.

Light agreed and so did charli, then Jaxx got a call from someone and when he looked at who the caller was and he frowned. "I have to go." Jaxx said and he said bye to all of us, 'something is wrong..' I said to myself, worried. "Should we go check up on Jaxx?" Charli asked, wondering why Jaxx seemed down when he got that call "I saw him head towards the exit we should go." Light said and we all walked until we saw Jaxx In the distance, he was sitting in his car with his door open. We all looked at each other concerned and as we got closer to him he got out of his car and waited for us to stop walking. "Are you alright?" Alex said, All he did was smile and he said "yeah, yes I'm fine- why do you ask?" He said.

He was of course lying but they didn't see it. "Well, you looked upset when you got that call and it is obviously out of character for you.." Alex explained, "I'm fine." He insisted he smiled again, "ok then... anyway, we are going to go now." She said as she waved all of us goodbye and all of them went to their vehicles, started them up, and left. I stood there with Jaxx and all he did was stare at his phone.

I started to get worried so I put my hand on his shoulder and asked "are you sure you're ok?"
I asked and he sighed, "No." He finally said as he walked to his car. I followed as I sat in the passenger's seat "what's bothering you?" I asked, he looked at me worried and started to say "my mother became very ill and she is in the hospital" he paused, "I am going to have to go back to Texas." He added. My eyes widened, 'you're leaving.' I thought, "Oh." I said as I looked out the window, "I am probably going to leave tomorrow.." he said and I turned to look at him feeling sad.

He sighs and looks at me to ask "do you want me to take you back to your house, or?" He asked, "take me home." I said silently, still thinking about how Jaxx might leave tomorrow.

One hour later

Jaxx's pov

It took a while for me to get Levi home because of traffic but we made it and we both got out of the car. Levi and I walked towards the door, I stopped behind him as he stood there looking at the ground. I turned around without saying goodbye as I was in a hurry to get back to my apartment and start packing up when I felt a hand grab my arm from behind.
