How is running to something and running from something so similar, and yet feel so different ?

Kaen's body dangles in Philantéline's arms as she runs in the streets. After asking around, she finally arrives at her destination. Barely in line of sight, Ribanur drops his tools and yells "Kaen !"

Phil gently puts her on the bench outside the shop.

Phil- She's just unconscious.

Ribanur, panicking- What happened !? Who are you ?

Phil- I'm Philantéline and... she saved my life :')

Ribanur- Wa.. How ?

Phil- There were ..uhm.. her magic, I think she used it too much. She just needs to rest. I tried to heal her but she's not hurt.

Ribanur, calming down- You can heal ?

Phil- Yes ^^ I have light magic

Ribanur- Oh yeah, just like the yellow healers in the Citadelle. I remember they patched me up when I almost cut my arm off.

Phil- C-Cut your arm ... off ??

Ribanur- Ah yes. Always check your shelves before you stack weapons on them. That nasty axe got me right in the shoulder. They had to go as a light and a water healers both to get the bloody thing to stitch back.

Phil- Hmmm, so light and water, that's what those robes were...

Ribanur- Yeah, it makes it easy to know who to hail. You know, water for surface cuts, and ...

Phil- And light for deep wounds, yes Kaen told me. This seems really ... nice. And it's just free ?

Ribanur- Why yes, you don't want to need to pay when your life is in danger. What kind of psychopaths would force that ?

---

The two wait for Kaen to wake up, one sitting on the same bench as her, the other on a chair nearby.

Phil- So.. uuh.. I saw you reacted pretty intensely when I brought Kaen. Are you like, Kaen's dad ?

Ribanur- I am :)

Kaen- *grunt* no he's not.

Ribanur- Morning sunshine.

Kaen- gnhhh

Phil- Hey, are you feeling okay ?

Kaen- Meh. *sleepily* Did I.. When the thing ran out and we got expelled, did you fall on me or did I fall on you ?

Phil- ... Hehe I think you fell on me.

Kaen- Aw fuck, sorry about that, should've know that was all I had.

Phil- No it's ok, you saved me. And you're not that heavy.

Kaen, looking around- Wait, did you carry me all the way here or did Ribo do it ?

Ribanur- Nope, she did it herself.

They both look at the Flyhn and her small stature, trying to see where the muscles were hiding.

Phil, with an awkward smile- Why ? I mean, I told you, you're not that..

Kaen, pointing at the ore chest in a corner- Lift this.

Phil- ... uuh ok ?

Philantéline approaches the chest, glances back at Kaen who appears very serious and invested. Phil eventually squats, puts her hands on each side of the chest, then stands up. It looks heavy but manageable.
