After just two days of uneventful travelling, plains have replaced the forest and a few houses can be seen [further along] the road, poking out of the now flat horizon.

Kaen, relieved- Here we are.

Phil- So... where is it ?

Kaen, pointing to the houses- Just over there.

Phil, unsure- That's.... ?

Kaen- That's Granin.

Phil- Those are houses.

Kaen- ... Houses that make up a village.

Phil- .... Oh it's.. just... way smaller than Mekair or Hyggeia..

Kaen- These two are capitals, of course they're bigger. Granin is a village, it's really not the same scale.

Savyna, whispering- Hyggeia huh...

Kaen, turning to Savyna- Hmm ?

Savyna- Nothing. Hey Phil how come you speak Lyune so well ?

Phil, uncomfortable- Uuuhhh I had a holder-speaker where you put a book and it speaks what's on the page. It's great to learn languages.

Savyna, pondering- I know those things from the sylvan royal library that I visited a few times. But how come you had clearly free access to one ? Given the complexity of the runic engravings on it, it's a very precious piece of furniture that far from everyone has, even for the highest class individuals.

Phil, nervous- Haha, I don't really know... Maybe the Flyhns are just better at making them and it's more widespread there ^^"

Savyna, unconvinced- The Flyhns do have slightly more air affinity, but that shouldn't affect how the runes act. Maybe in the testing phase but even then....

Kaen, interrupting- Right guys, we're here. I'm going to go talk to some people to find our Paul guy, then we can start doing whatever we came here to do.

Phil- Ok !

Savyna just nods. Kaen steps away and goes towards someone, while Savyna glances at Phil full of suspicions. The first group of people Kaen approaches seems to dissolve and walk away just as she reaches them. She tries to call for one of them but they do not react and keep walking away.

*Unlucky I guess.*

She goes to another group near the village's water well but they also avoid her and walk away.

*They even left the water bucket there...*

She turns to Phil and Savyna, who both shrug.

Kaen- Fine, if that's how it is...

And Kaen goes to knock on the closest door. An old person behind the door answers without opening.

Voice- If you're with that locust, I don't want anything to do with you.

Kaen- I just have a few questions !

Suddenly the door opens and a little old lady stands there, angry.

Lady- And I just have a few dead relatives because of them !

Kaen, disturbed- I... I swear she's never- *a moment of hesitation* she wouldn't ... *hesitation* ... She's not with the Sylvan Kingdom. She's an exile !

The lady looks at Kaen in silence, brows still furrowed. Kaen slowly waves at Savyna to come.

Kaen, once Savyna is close- Hey show her your thing.
