~ Chapter Twenty ~

A week later...

Lando & Madi are sitting on the beach together. Over the last week, Madi had been extremely paranoid. She kept thinking that she was seeing Tyler everywhere she went, her trauma was coming back again. She thought she was finally healing from the situation but she obviously was not. She was kinda glad in a way that her & Lando had been interrupted before things got further like everytime, not because she didn't want to do things with him but because she didn't want that trauma to get worse. It hurt her even more knowing that Mason was the only one who knew about the situation so it wasn't like she could really talk to anyone else about it and she wasn't fully ready to tell Lando yet. Lando noticed that she was a bit paranoid but he didn't want her to feel even more stressed by him asking her so he just tried his best to distract her. Today they were going to enjoy some time on the beach together and they already had claimed "cutest couple award" because of the fact that Lando & Madi both had matching bikini/trunks on and even Mason agreed that they were the cutest couple.

"Baby? You ok? You keep looking around?" Lando asks as he starts to get really worried about Madi's paranoia. "Yeah, don't worry, baby. I just feel like I'm being watched but I'm probably just going mad" Madi says as she quickly kisses his cheek. "You're so hot, how did I get so lucky" she says as she holds his hand on the sand "I'm the lucky one. I got the most beautiful girlfriend in the world" he says as he pulls up her hand and kisses it. Soon after they hear Mason scream at them from the sea "GET IN HERE LOVEBIRDS" which they both actually agree to and start making their way to the sea but Madi immediately feels Lando pick her up bridal style and starts running to the sea "OH MY GOD. LAN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING" she yells as she feels him get closer to the water and throws her into the water. "OH YOU ARE SO DEAD, NORRIS" she says as she splashes water towards him "why start a fight you know you're gonna lose?" Lando says as he splashes water directly at her and leaps on her pushing them underwater. Mason soon ends up splashing water all over the couple while laughing "stop being all lovey dovey and have a water fight" he says which Lando immediately responds to and splashes water all over Mason and tackles him into the water which makes Madi burst out laughing before joining in. "YOU'RE SO GOING DOWN MASE!!!!" Madi yells as she splashes him. "AS IF MADS!!! I'M WAY BETTER AT THIS THAN YOU" Mason says as he splashes water back at her. "ACTUALLY I'M BETTER THAN BOTH OF YOU" Lando says as he tackles them both into the sea.
