Rosé's pov

I got home late and I got the time to call Yeri back, I realised how I had begun to ignore my friends a lot. I was about to call Yeri to ask why she called after my shift when I got mesmerised by Jennie.

It was like an invisible force pulling me towards her.

There was no going back from here, now I was already falling in love with her.

"Roseanne!" I grunted hearing the most annoying voice which made Jennie glance in my direction.

I turned back looking at Travis, my manager, "Yes, Sir..." I forced the fakest yet genuine smile.

"We need to prepare for a welcome party for our new HOD arrival till next week. I want you to prepare for the party at the club or lounge and make sure everyone should attend the party. Jimin will be assisting you in that and from the front office department take Jennie with you..." he didn't even give me a chance to say anything and left.

With Jimin? I'm terrified I would kill him.

I turned bumping into Jimin as he held onto my shoulder, "Wow, haven't you changed? We have to go to book the venue" he helped me to stand steady.

I jerked his hands, "Jennie is coming with us?" I asked instead.

He hushed even his smile disappeared, "Yes, you don't have any problem wit-"

"No! But I would appreciate it if you behave professionally instead of stari-"

"I know, Roseanne. I simply want to ask if you're okay with it. You don't have feelings for-"

"Yes, I'm okay. I would appreciate it if you stop mentioning it. I buried those feelings in that mall so please stop reminding me, it's humiliating" I walked past him rolling my eyes.

"I'll be waiting for you at the office with Jennie" he said causing me to halt my steps.

There is no way I would let Jennie stay alone with him, he's so fucking charming asshole. What if he tries to make her fall in love with him? I shake my head rushing to my locker and changing my clothes as soon as possible.

I dashed to the time office seeing him about to shake his hand with Jennie. I smack his hand without knowing why. They both frowned at me and I certainly don't have any excuse to tell them.

"What are you doing, Roseanne?" he frowned at me.

"Uh.... I- you- how dare you leave me alone there! Didn't I tell you to wait for me?" I rumbled and Jennie raised her brows at me confusingly.

He turned to me crossing his arm, "When did you tell me to wait for you?"

"I told you" I lied.

"Anyway, I searched for a lounge nearby. It would be easy for everyone to reach there after our shift" he was certainly intelligent, why the fuck does he have to be so intelligent? And handsome?

"How are we going there?" Jennie takes our attention.

"By cab, it would be here in a minute now" he smiled at her and she smiled back.

What the hell am I doing here again? They're simply smiling, get it together, Park. You're overreacting as always, I took a deep breath secretly telling myself Jennie likes me, she likes me but Jimin loves her there is a big gap between like and love.

"Oh... What. Are. You. Three. Doing. Here?" Jisoo came out of nowhere with Lisa smirking at me from head to toe as if laughing at me in her head.

I glare at Lisa telling her in my head to control her girlfriend before I burst into fury. She forced a smile at me looking away as if she didn't know me.
